Chapter 27

Sakura Pov (Kinda short/ 2 1/2 weeks later)

Naruto, Kiba, Choji, Neji, and Shikamaru had just left to go and try to bring Sasuke back. I cant believe the baka was actually going to that Orochimaru guy after everything he did.

If Raiden where here she would.....

That's it!

I race back to Lady Tsunade office, not knocking this time.

"Lady Tsunade, Raiden she can bring Sasuke back for sure!" I say with a smile, not really over Sasuke coming back. But over the fact they would release Raiden from where ever they where holding her.

But all Lady Tsunade does is look at me for a moment before sighing, "Sakura, im not disagreeing with you on that, but i cannot let Raiden out." She says and i deflat slightly, "Lady Tsunade can i ask why?.." I ask a but timid, ever since the attack all the jonin and Chunin where being secretive about Raiden and why she was being held. I've asked Kakashi-sensei, Guy-sensei, Asuma-sensei and even her Kaasan. But they won't tell me anything about her, "Im afraid i cant, now if you'll excuse me i have a lot of work to do."

I nod pressing my lips together before leaving, i kick a rock in the road letting out a small sigh. Maybe things will get better today...

Raiden Pov

Lady Tsunade did keep her word and i didn't suffer from Ibiki anymore at least. But some anbu still came into the cell to kick the living crap out of me. They'd let me lay there on the cold ground, cursing at me, spiting on me, until they let a medic nin heal me just enough. So Inoichi and Lady Tsunade wouldn't be able to tell.

Then there was my sessions with Inoichi, the man tried to be gentle since he knew my Touchan. And me since i was a kid, but mind jutsu's are always painful when you resist them.

The fatigue of it all catching up to me as i lay against the cell wall, my head drooping ever so often.

"So this is where you are." I immediately try to stand, but 'Madara' hand keeps me seated on the ground. Slowly one by one i feel the chakra draining seals on the straight jacket i had on becoming undone. My chakra beginning to gather, "Fucking finally!" Inazuma shouts, it being the first time in the last month since being placed in here.

His chakra flows slowy through my body and i sigh in relief feeling any lingering pain fade away. My sight coming blurry as i blink a few times in the dark cell. When i see the sharingan however i immediately look down, "Why are you here." I ask, flinching slightly when he cuts the straight jacket off of me.

'Madara' chuckles before holding my sword out to me and i take it by the haul before standing, "Isn't it obvious Raiden, im freeing you. I still want you in the Akatsuki, you will make a powerful ally. And with Sasuke Uchiha leaving the village to go with Orochimaru. All eyes will be elsewhere while you make you escape. Head to the boarder between the land of fire and land of stone. Itachi and Kisame will be waiting for you there." He tells me as he sinks into the ground, i roll my eyes scoffing a bit. Dramatic ass...

When the four anbu where coming to give me my nightly beating. They barely manage to get out any shouts before i cut them down.

There blood spraying my old cell, and i slide the door shut. And quickly make my way through the prison, knocking guards out as i went. Once out it was dead of night, and i let Inazuma's chakra fade for now. As i make my way to the village suppressing my chakra as much as i could.

My first stop being my house, i climb in through Konohamaru's window since he always has the bad habit of sleeping with it open. I bit my bottom lip and simply bask in my little Ototo's presence. Before i lightly direct Inazuma's chakra to my eyes, and write a small note for him and Kaachan. Apologizing for leaving and expressing how much i love them.

I leave before my Kaachan can pick up on my chakra and head to the Hyuga clan. I don't get too close to Neji's home.

Instead i leave the necklace he had given me on my 11th birthday in a place i knew he would see it. It was a chakra stone, a bit of my chakra stored in it.

Once there i hesitate on leaving the village completely just yet and chew my bottom lip debating with myself for awhile. But i go to one more place, climbing in the window. And i nudge her gently, "Sakura." I whisper and she groans softly before her emerald eyes blink open. When she realizes i was there she gasp sitting straight up, "Raiden what ar-!"

I quickly place my hand over her mouth and motion for her to stay quiet. When she nods slowly her eyes darting all over my face, i remove my hand from over her mouth.

Her hand slowly rising, she places it gently against my cheek lightly tracing the black markings.

"You can see...." She whispers softly and i nod with a small smile, "I can and your even prettier than when we where kids." I whisper back, chuckling quietly when her cheeks gain a tint of pink. My smile then fades, "Sakura listen to me i don't have much time." I say seriously and her brows furrow together in confusion, "Raiden are you going somewhere or something." She ask and i sigh titling my head off to the side for a few minutes before looking back at her.

I stare at her for a moment, "I...I cant stay in the village anymore, for everyone's safety i have to leave. And the things im going to have to do aren't going to be pretty. I cant tell you any more but i wanted to ask you if you could look after everyone Sakura. My team especially Neji will make it seem like its not affecting them but this will. So can you do it?" I ask Sakura who just looks at me with wide eyes and her bottom lip quivers.

I could tell she wanted to ask me so many things, but she merrily nods, "I can do it Raiden, Ill make sure everyone is okay." She her voice cracking a bit and i smile, "Thank you Sakura, make sure you take care of yourself too and keep training." I say as i stand up from her bed but before i could jump out the window.

Sakura grabs my hand, "W-Wait!" I pause as she rushes out of her bed going over to the dresser opening her drawer. Coming back over to me, Sakura grabs my wrist and ties a homemade red string bracelet around my wrist.

"For good luck." She whispers and i soften and very gently I place a kiss on top of her head.

"Thank you Sakura, ill treasure it." I whisper before hitting the back of her neck, right in the pressure point knocking her out. I gently place her back into her bed making sure she was tucked in okay.

Before letting Inazuma's chakra fade out, and i place my forehead protector on the window seal. Before jumping out and leaving the village for good.

I pump chakra into my legs to go faster wanting to put distance between myself and the village, making sure to cover my tracks so i wouldn't be tracked.

Touchan give me strength to do what needs to be done......
