Keep holding on
When my brain's ticking like a bomb
Guess the black thoughts
Have come again to get meSweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I've heard
Sing along, mockingbird
You don't affect meThat's right
Deliverance of my heart
Please strike
Be deliberateWait, I'm coming undone
Irate, I'm coming undone
Too late, I'm coming undone
What looks so strong, so delicate
Wait, I'm starting to suffocate
And soon I anticipate
I'm coming undone
What looks so strong, so delicateChoke, choke again
I thought my demons were my friends
Pity me in the end
They're out to get me
Since I was young
I tasted sorrow on my tongue
And the sweet sugar gun
Does not protect meThat's right
Trigger between my eyes
Please strike
Make it quick nowWait, I'm coming undone
Irate, I'm coming undone
Too late, I'm coming undone
What looks so strong, so delicate
Wait, I'm starting to suffocate
And soon I anticipate
I'm coming undone
What looks so strong, so delicateI'm trying to hold it together
Head is lighter than a feather
Looks like I'm not getting better
Not getting betterWait, I'm coming undone
Irate, I'm coming undone
Too late, I'm coming undone
What looks so strong, so delicate
Wait, I'm starting to suffocate
And soon I anticipate
I'm coming undone
What looks so strong, so delicateComing Undone-KoRn-2005-

I haven't stopped working. In the car on the way to the airport, or during the entire flight, and when Nick picked us up, I've been looking into the spell that Mai intended to use to help Jason and Billy. I needed this to work for multiple reasons, not just to save one of my closest friends, but because of Jayda's request.
Over the phone, her anxiety over what happened to Jason turned into vows of retribution, and while you never want to end up on Jayda's bad side at any point in time, the way she wanted to gain an advantage worries me. She asked for demon blood. Clarice and Aerin managed to synthesize it, but we knew that it wasn't the same.
My concern is that she might give in to it this time, because of her anger. It's what Azazel wants. I haven't figured out why yet. This is dangerous. I also feel like I don't have the right to tell Jayda, or anyone for that matter, what to do with their bodies. Or powers. Same difference. I'm not the type to go behind her back to either Salim or Jason, either. I hope she spoke to them about this.
"Joey," Hunter hails me. "Nick asked you how your flight went?"
"Oh-" I chuckled. "I'm-I'm sorry, guys. I've been looking into what Mai needs. It was...actually, I didn't notice."
