Walking, waiting
Alone without a care
Hoping and hating
With things I can't bare
Did you think it's cool
To walk right up to take my life and fuck it up
Well, did you, well, did you?

I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside

Walking, waiting
Alone without a care
Hoping and hating
With things I can't bare
Did you think it's cool
To walk right up to take my life and fuck it up
Well, did you, well, did you?

I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside

I've slept so long without you
It's tearing me apart
Till how to get this far playing games
With this old heart?
I've killed a million petty souls
But I couldn't kill you
I've slept so long without you

I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside

I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside

I see hell in your eyes
Taken in by surprise
Touching you makes me feel alive
Touching you makes me die inside

"Was this supposed to happen?" Clarice frowns.

"...We did everything correctly," Eric assures her.

"It could be any number of things," I pitch in. "Their bloodline...maybe Billy has unfinished business?"

"He only looks solid," Aerin comments.

"What do you mean?" Hunter frowns.

"You poked him, didn't you?" Joey asks with a laugh.

"I had to know!" Aerin hissed.

"That's fair," Joey admits. "But we did it. Jason and Billy are separated."

I'm a competent witch. I am. But I don't know what the fuck just happened with this ritual, and why I felt like we were on a sci-fi sitcom from the 90s. Joey was right, we separated the two, but Billy must have fought like hell because he was lying next to Jason in the Pentagram. And-after having tried to wake Billy-Aerin was also right. He's not solid.

"Whatever happened, our priority now is Jason's recovery and making sure that Billy can't possess him again," Eric comments.

"Not just Jason," I frowned, taking a closer look. "When's the last time you slept properly or had any sunlight?"
