It was well over a little while before Sayre can say that "Hm, the first day of school sure is a long time ago." It's been a month or so (I think) since I've been used to this whole school idea.

Just immediately after Hana-chan told me to bring food or money for snack and lunch break, mama and I went to the trouble of waking up a bit earlier than usual since day two to make my school food together! And mama made sure that I have some money to spare, just in case (which is the first time Sayre's got money in my pocket!).

Speaking of Sayre actually getting schooled, there was nowhere to go but up for me it seems. It could be exponential growth. My performance in Math. Science, and Home Economics were still exceptional at best, while I'm mostly good with English, History, and Japanese this time! Computer? I don't need an answer for that, I simply pass that test!

Mama and papa were happy when they finally got what they were expecting: Sayre doing exceptionally well at school. According to my teachers, I was doing more than just above average on most areas at least from what I heard from them!

That's a whole lot of good news to the point that Sayre would've thought if all of the bad things just magically flushed down the toilet.

But I guess that's a tradeoff more than anything.

As of late, Sayre was gradually starting to have trouble walking the long distance between home and school. Ironically, the only time I reached school without problem is the first say of school. Anywho, the problem is that I'd get super tired three-fourths on my way to school and my way back home! I have to really catch my breathe and hold on to my knees like I can't walk much further!

"Sayrii?! U-uhm, hello! You're having trouble walking to school? Let me give you a hand!"

That was Hana-chan, who I magically met halfway on my way to school a few days past the first day. From the looks of her reaction when she first saw me that morning, it's obvious from other people that I look pale and tired whenever I walk some long distances. She wasn't wary of it first, but it later came to talking to me about it during lunch break with Chihiro the other day.

"Itō-san, do you know why Sayrii here gets easily tired going to school?" she asks to Chihiro.

"Huh. That never crossed my thought nor suspicion. In that case, neither I have any idea. Perhaps it's because of Sayre's stature and nature?"

"Maybee..?" Sayre joins in the mystery fun.

"Sayre, don't you think that's an oddity? You're still young and growing up," Chihiro said.

"Yeah, you're not an old geezer just yet!" Hana-chan loudly added. "Have you talked to your parents about it? It's a raise for concern!"

"N-not yet... haha..." Sayre looks down and replied lowly.

That's right, my parents don't know a single thing that I was struggling my way to school and back. I mean, they don't see me walking my way to and from school and that they see me as uplifting, carefree, and energetic, so they just don't raise a bit of concern about the things that are just hidden within that smile of mine.

Sayre doesn't want to cause anymore trouble for them, I'm pretty sure they just wanted me to succeed in every way and have no time for little things like that.

"Woops! It's almost time for afternoon classes, but it's my turn being with Sayre for the rest of it! Awh, poor Chihiro...!" Hana-chan teases him.

He sighed and scratched his head, "Well, I don't think that adds to your character either way, unless if Sayre's alright with that, do you?"

"I'm fine! I wanted to know about my other friends, Chihiro!"

"See~? Now—" We stand up and she firmly grasped my hand, walking away quite stylishly. "We're off now. Chupchadoo~!"
