"Y/n!" John exclaims happily as I open the door to my apartment.

"Hi." I giggle as he gives me a light kiss on the cheek.

"I made muffins while you were gone. I know you've been wanting them recently." I let a large smile slip onto my face.

"Thank you so much!" I hugged him.

"Movie night?" He asks me.

"I would love that. You can pick the movie, I'll make some popcorn." I walked into the kitchen.

"Hey, John. What would you think about coming to game night with me on Tuesday? My friends want to meet you, and Chandler hasn't seen you in awhile."

"That sounds amazing. I can't wait."

After making two batches of extra butter popcorn and putting it in a large bowl, I plopped down on our couch. John gently pulled me into him, and the opening scene of Moana began to play. I ate a piece of popcorn happily, enjoying the moment.

We both fell asleep while watching the movie and awoke the next day to a large clash of thunder.

John lightly groaned and checked the time. "I should leave for work. I'm scared to see the road conditions." He got up to get ready.

I followed, also getting ready for my day. Although, I didn't have to do as much.

I quickly got dressed and made a bagel for John to grab on his way out.

I handed it to him as he left. "Thanks! See you tonight!"

"Bye!" He left, and I ate my own bagel.

I decided that today was to be a chill day, one where I do absolutely nothing. I needed one of those.

After watching TV for an hour or so, John came home. My head tilted a little out of curiosity.

"Hi, is everything okay? You're never home this early?" I ask him.

"Of course, babe. I was just chosen for a business trip. It's starting tomorrow and ending Monday night. So, if everything goes according to plan, I'll be home Tuesday morning. And don't worry. I haven't forgotten about game night. I'll be there. Promise." He gave me a small smile.

I nodded, smiling back at him. That would be four days without him. "Well, I'm just watching Secrets of the Zoo right now, if you want to join."

"I would love to, but once the boys heard that I got off early, they made plans with me." A frown present on his face.

"Oh, okay. Have fun." He kisses me before grabbing a couple things and leaving.

I don't want to think about what he will be like when he comes home. Maybe for once, his friends won't give him drugs or get him drunk. But I'm never that lucky.

I sigh, going to run myself a hot bath with some Dr. Teal's calm and serenity epsom salt. My running mind will be the thing that kills me before anything else even has the chance to.

I turn on some music, needing to distract myself. Drifting off, one question circled in my head. Am I happy with this life?

An hour and a half later, I woke up to my ringtone, realizing the water I'm in has turned cold. "Hello?"

"Y/N!" A voice I somewhat recognize says.

"Not to be rude. I recognize your voice, I really do. But your name is slipping my mind.

He scoffs. "Hey, mamas."

"You could have just said, 'It's Sapnap.'" I reply back with a laugh.

"But that would just be too easy."
