SECONDS: LOST

MINUTES

Take one or two minutes to say everything I want.
Rest for a few seconds. I know I'm too blunt.
I told you stories that aren't supposed to be shared when two people just meet.
The entire time was so lively; my minutes with you were great.
Everything about you is lovely; I know your brothers like I was there for years.
shared our perspectives, objectives, dreams, preferences, and fears.
watched every series and movie you loved,
tried everything you liked, then heard you say you're far from glad.
The whole thing was ecstatic; it felt right.
I didn't play everything safe; I didn't put up any fights.
Dear you, I could've still had you, and we would've tried anything new.
But I took those millions or billions of minutes from you.

HOURS

Sleep at exactly 8 p.m., which you knew.
Wake up around 11 p.m., just for you.
Talk for hours, from 12 to 3.
In those hours, we felt free.
Talk with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Exchange compliments with passion.
I'm far from those happy hours with you.
Now it's so hard just to say hello.
Checking the time every few seconds or minutes wasn't a gem.
Wait for the hours that are meant for you; I really don't want to miss them.
It was hard to take as hours turned into minutes, then seconds, or no time at all.
It's unfortunate when time says something and you're about to fall.
