"Should we call your dad?" Hope asked when they were all in a circle, looking down on a worn-out body.

"Why? So he can take another bullet for you?" Lizzie spat making Hope look up at her. "No. Because whatever did this is not a vampire. It's got to be another monster from the knife."

"Well, maybe the monster has been right in front of us all along." Kaleb stepped forward towards Landon, stopping right in front of him. Landon stuttered, wearing a nervous smile, "What...? Are you serious?"

"Hey, none of this started happening until you showed up and stole that knife which is exactly what the other monsters came here to do." Kaleb clarified, "You saying it's a coincidence?"

"Yeah," Landon was quick to say, "Yeah, yes I am!" He glanced at the others, noticing the expressions on their faces, "You believe me, right?" he asked Hope but she didn't say anything.

Landon scoffed, looking away, "Got it. Say no more." He began walking away and none of them stopped him, knowing he wouldn't get far anyway.

Lucy couldn't help but laugh. Everyone turned to her as if she was crazy. "I'm sorry, that was funny." And she still continued to laugh. "Oh boy, how can you people be so clever but stupid at the same time?"

"What are you talking about," Hope asked.

"It's so obvious to the point I feel bad for the douche." She started seeing that no one knew what she was talking about. "For once Hope, you're wrong. He's not the monster. I mean he might look like one with that hideous hair but that's beside the point."

"The monster we are looking for is a spider. An Arachne, to be exact. In Greek mythology, the daughter of Idmon of Colophon in Lydia, a dyer in purple. Whose talent for weaving was renowned and who famously challenged the goddess Minerva to a weaving competition. Minerva was stupid enough to weave the brilliant stories of the gods, annoying Arachne, who was determined to prove that humans were better than the gods. She failed and then hung herself. However, Minerva had other plans for Arachne, turning her into a spider and ensuring that Arachne and her descendants would be cursed to weave webs for the rest of their lives" Lucy finished earning shocked faces from all four of three of them except MG.

"All it wants is to be human, so it wears the skins of its prey to pass. Oh, my God. It's- its fangs are huge so they could pass for a vampire bite. And its bite liquefied its victims! Plus I found a web in Dana's hair." MG support Lucy's assumption. Lucy immediately rolled her eyes hearing her father's name.

Kaleb was the first to speak "Now hold on, how did you know Lucy? MG got it from his comic books, did you too?"

"Well, that offends me. I'm not a nerd. I knew because back then she was a beautiful young lady, and you know we gods know each other." Lucy winked and smirked, they all made a horrid face and groaned in disgust.

"That would explain why it couldn't follow the knife out of town. An SUV- sized insect can't exactly hitchhike. Unless it inhabits the body of someone." Hope said connecting all the dots.

"Who? Sasha maybe?" MG asked.

"My money is still on your boyfriend," Lizzie said to Hope who immediately got defensive "He's not my boyfriend." she was slightly offended that Lizzie assumed that Landon and she were together. Lucy felt relaxed and pleased when she heard it, but why?

"If we had something from it, we could do a tracking spell," Lizzie informed and out of nowhere, Landon came up to them with a tired expression from all the running.

He held his hand up, holding a skin. "Would its face work?"

After cleaning up the body they ran to find the Arachne. The phone that Mg was carrying around started to ring. He gave it to Lizzie to handle while they continued to run.

"I suck at lying," Lizzie whined and turned her head beside her. "You're great at it." She gave the phone to Landon who non-knowingly grabbed it.

"You're his favorite." Landon passed the phone to Hope who also took it confused.

"You're the hero" She shrugged and gave it to Lizzie again. Leaving Lizzie no choice but to answer the call and they all stopped to take a breath.

"Hi, Daddy!" Lizzie said sounding a little too happy.

"Hey, thought I'd call check-in, see how things are going," Alaric spoke from the other line, beside him is Matt Donovan who was listening as well.

"So good." She awkwardly said and Hope gave her a support nod.

"Really? Define 'good', Lizzie, Because I don't think that involves me tracking down Dana's body to the glove compartment." He spat angrily and looked at the skin.

Lucy frowned. "Really? I knew I should've taken care of the body" She whispered.

"Listen, Dad, it's fine. We cracked the case. It's a spider. But, like, a big, huge, nasty spider. And MG's comic books know how to kill it. So does Lucy." Lizzie explained but it didn't help the situation.

"Comic books? Lucy? Really? Lizzie, listen to me, whatever you're thinking of doing, don't, okay? So just tell me where you are, and Matt and I will be right there. And where is Hope?" He said and sighed making Lucy roll her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Dad. You're gonna have to trust me for once" Lizzie hung up. "Let's do this."

"Oh darling, it's been a while, remember me" Lucy called out to the spider when she saw it. The spider turned its attention to her. Then her eyes landed on Josie and Raf who were stuck in a web, the witch came rushing her way.

"Well ladies, this is my cue to go, remember to aim for the head," Lucy said and Hope, Lizzie, and Josie second to join hands while Rafael ran out with Sasha who was covered in webs.

Suddenly something exploded inside the mill which made them look at each other in worry. Lucy crossed her arms while they stare at the three witches who just got out of the mill, orange goo covering them from head to toe. She told them to aim for the head, not the whole body.

She held back laughter and quickly covered it up with a cough.

"I'm sure you find this amusing, Lucy." Lizzie scoffed.

Lucy stood on the porch near the lake, having a battle with her thoughts. She liked it here. It was like a home to her. Hell was never home, and neither was Heaven.

It's time for her brother and father to accept it. She is never going to return to Hell. She's staying, because even now, she's still curious about Hope. What makes her so special? It's not just that she's powerful. No, there's something else too.

"Hey," a voice called from behind her.

She turned around and saw Hope walking up to her. Her hair was still damp as she just took a shower. Lucy smiled, "Hey."

"You know this reminds me of the ocean, minus the sand, of course. A little walk down memory lane. You see, five years ago, when I abandoned Hell, I landed next to a beach. Where I flipped my father the grandest of birds." Lucy explained, letting her walls fall. That's not possible, what's happening to me? "Where I severed my wings..."

Hope looked at her in shock at the sudden reveal. "And your father is...God?" she asked.

"Yes. And don't give him the belief, his ego can use a little deflating." Lucy rolled her eyes as she looked up at the sky. "We don't all turn into our parents, Hope." she laughed "I mean, look at me. I don't think I've ever been the daughter he wants me to be."

Lucy's words kept replying in Hope's head. Without even acknowledging it, Lucy made Hope realize she doesn't need to be normal. She is proud to be a Mikaelson. A loving family who will do anything to protect her was what everybody wanted that was normal.

Lucy walked off without saying another word. She needs guidance. Her walls fell easily. It was not possible, and she didn't like this feeling. But the question is, why did her walls fall?
