It was always a thing when Allera is doing something and the rest of her friends just followed. The trendsetter of her school, people might say. The 14-year-old girl had just got a new pair of earrings and it seem like everybody bought one that week. Natalie, Lucy, and Amelia were part of the trendsetter because Allera bought them matching earrings. The four walked down the halls like they own the school, the cliques are really strong when they were in middle school. Especially since they're an 8 grader, they were the seniors of middle school.

"Allera!"

She looked back and so does the other three girls behind her.

"Where did you buy the earrings, I want-"

"Who said you can afford them? Why can't you just copy me as the others did, buy them at Target or something ", Allera turned her back on her and walked away

Everybody knew that no one can copy Allera, asking her where she bought things was like asking a murderer where they put their murder weapon. Identity theft is the term she'd like to say to people. She is just a nightmare back then.

A genuine smile crept in my face, for the first time in a while I smiled while walking through class. I thought the days after will be a better day than the weeks before. Today, I hope to be different. I am going to march to class and not just scrolled to Instagram.

While I was about to open the door to class, I saw Lucy, Amelia, and Natalie in the hallway together. I take my hand and manage to wave toward Lucy, three of them saw that and glance at Lucy weirdly.

They looked behind them and saw no one was behind them,

"Did she just wave to you?", Natalie said snarky.

Lucy shook her head left and right.

"Okay then."

Lucy pretended that last night we didn't just hang out and spilled our hearts out. She gave me a look, I don't know how to identify that look. Was she guilty? Or did she get a brain injury on the way home last night?

They walked passed me, I was hurt. I never thought I would feel something like this towards someone that is not my boyfriend. This is the reason I don't do friends, this is the reason. I hated it, I slam the door of the class and walked out. I could feel eyes staring at me inside the class window but I just didn't bother to apologize.

If my day couldn't get any worse, I saw Luca in the hall too. He took a small glance and just proceed to do whatever he was doing before. I was furious. I stomped my way and decide today is not a better day than yesterday. I waltz back to my apartment room without any care if people even saw me walking inside. I don't fucking care anymore.

I dial Jeremy's number and he answers almost immediately.

"Where do you think you're going!? slamming the cla-"

"I can't come to school, I hate everyone!" I cried cutting off whatever Jeremy was about to say.

I know that Jeremy is in class and is probably teaching the class I almost enter. That is why he was raising his voice. But, I just can't handle all the stress already. It's getting to me, I was supposed to be strong, I was supposed to not show my emotion.  I heard ruffling in Jeremy's line, so I stopped talking for a second. That lasted for a minute. I can hear some students talking in the background, not agreeing with what Jeremy was saying. The ruffling starts again.

"Jere?" I sob.

"Yeah- wait wait a bit."

Then the call ended.
