Choi Seunghyun set foot in the vintage cafe Kwon Jiyong had invited him to.

Dressed in a gray turtleneck and black jeans, he adjusted his thickly framed black glasses as he scanned the establishment for Jiyong.

"Excuse me, sir. May I help you?", a pretty waitress asked Seunghyun.

"I'm looking for someone. I'll just give them a call.", Seunghyun said, pulling out his phone.

The waitress smiled and left.

"Jiyong. Where are you?", Seunghyun's deep voice asked into his phone.

"Behind the pillar with the basketball poster", Jiyong's reedy voice came through.

"Hello, Jiyong", Seunghyun said, taking a seat opposite Jiyong.

Jiyong wore a tight white top, an olive green jacket, and black skinny jeans. His jacket was full of pins and he wore a white bucket hat.

"Yo", Jiyong replied. "I ordered for both of us", he continued.

"Let's cut to the chase. What did you want to talk about that made you sound so broken?", Seunghyun asked.

Jiyong sighed and put his head in his hands.

Seunghyun simply sipped his coffee.

"It's about....him", Jiyong confessed.

"I just don't know what to do anymore. He's with that girl, but he cheats on her more times than even possible, like what am I supposed to do? He gets with boys, so is he bi? I don't understand. I've waited 3 years, I've liked him since high school...hyung I can't take it anymore", Jiyong's voice cracked at the end.

His eyes were glassy, and Jiyong wasn't one to get emotional easily.

Seunghyun took Jiyong's cold hands in his warm ones and stroked them gently.

"I understand your pain, but Ji...do you seriously think sleeping with a new person each week and killing your liver is the appropriate way to deal with this?", Seunghyun spat out.

"Hyung, he does those too, I'm just trying to cope", Jiyong sobbed.

Seunghyun sighed.

"Ji. Maybe you should tell him how you feel."

"Hyung...I can't, I just can't."

"Why? Why can't you tell him, Ji? You're so good at speaking you mind and don't take shit from anyone. You're straight-forward and confident and charming and the badboy, aren't you?", Seunghyun said harshly.

Jiyong's lips trembled.

"You don't get it. I'm not good enough for him. He's so perfect, and I'm so...broken. I'm cynical and snobby. I'm mean to people and act so powerful. I know I'm nowhere near good enough for him...but I can't change...hyung, I-", Jiyong's voice caught up. Tears ran down his clear skin like raindrops on a flower.

"Jiyong.", Seunghyun began. "Look at me"

Jiyong shook his head 'no'.

"Kwon Jiyong. Look at me.", Seunghyun scolded. "I want you to stop with all that 'unworthy' crap. I'm not here to deal with your self-esteem issues. Let me say this. He's no angel. He's the biggest playboy and the most infamous person in his university. To be entirely honest, he's a no-good heartbreaker.

Be careful."

Jiyong took a few moments to soak in this revelation.

"I actually wonder why he turned that way....", Seunghyun whispered.

"Me too, hyung...me too", Jiyong sobbed. "I wonder if it was our fight."

"I don't know...anyway, chin up, Ji. Talk to him like you used to. Take it slow and steady. I'm sure you'll work up the courage to confess.", Seunghyun said with finality.

Jiyong took a deep breath.

He met Seunghyun's eyes.

"Yes. Thank you, hyung", he said.
