"Ji, for the last time. You look FINE! Stop messing with your hair! It's just fine!", Seunghyun grumbled, frustrated at Jiyong.

Presently, he was in Jiyong's apartment, advising him in selecting an outfit for his meet up with his crush.

"Hyung, do I actually look good, though?", Jiyong examined his reflection.

A tight white shirt, light blue denim jeans and jacket. As usual, his jacket had various pins on it, including one for his startup fashion brand, peaceminusone.

Jiyong let his newly dyed yellow-orange hair hang in his face. He even put on some makeup.

"Jiyong. You look good. Normally you wouldn't hesitate to step out like this." Seunghyun deadpanned.

"Hyuuunnggg...It's my crush! This is totally different!", Jiyong whined.

Seunghyun chuckled.

"It's just him. That snotty faced, panda-looking guy you used to play with as a kid."

Jiyong blushed.

"Come on, I'll drop you off", Seunghyun offered.

Seunghyun drove Jiyong to the cafe where the latter had arranged to meet his crush.

"Good luck, Ji. Don't be nervous. Just be your usual self and don't overthink it.", Seunghyun encouraged his friend.

Jiyong nodded sharply.

"Bye, hyung", he exited Seunghyun's car.

At the cafe's entrance, Jiyong ran into his crush. He inhaled sharply.

Said crush looked absolutely charming in a tight collared shirt and jeans, with office shoes and silver jewelry. His panda-fringe hair looked freshly washed.

"Ah, hello, Jiyong hyung", his crush greeted, bowing slightly.

"H-hello, Seunghyun", Jiyong stuttered, mentally cursing himself for it.

The duo got a table and ordered coffee with pastries.

"Long time no see, hyung. I kinda wondered how you were doing...but I couldn't work up the courage to call or text you....", Seunghyun lowered his gaze.

"Me too...", Jiyong agreed.

"So, how have you been? I think I missed your graduation, right?", Seunghyun sipped his coffee.

"Ah yeah....I graduated two months ago. But the course isn't officially complete until I finish my internship. I'm with a rising start-up company while simultaneously managing my own.", Jiyong said.

"Oh, that's really cool", Seunghyun said in awe. "I didn't know you had your own start-up".

"Mhm...how have you been?", Jiyong flipped the script.

"Nothing new. Still studying. It's getting kind of physically taxing this year.", Seunghyun shared.

A few minutes of awkward silence passed. Both Seunghyun and Jiyong fiddled with their fingers, unsure of how to proceed.

Thankfully, they slowly broke the thick ice and got talking.

Talking about the most random things.

Just like the old days.

Before misunderstandings and stubbornness broke them up.

Jiyong had arrived in the early afternoon, and now it was late evening. He was pleasantly surprised by how much he had enjoyed spending time with Seunghyun.

Once the awkwardness washed away, it was like they'd never fought at all.

"Bye, hyung. I had a lot of fun today", Seunghyun smiled.

"I had fun too, Hyunnie. Let's meet again soon", Jiyong waved.

On his way home, Jiyong's heart hurt indescribably, but in a good way.

It was everything, yet nothing, that made him feel this way.

He quietly laughed to himself and happily returned home.
