Chapter ten

'Hi you must be Beth.' Alfie said pulling me into his arms. His sudden embrace startled me which made Zoe laugh. 'Zoe has told me all about you.' He said pulling away then kissing Zoe. At first I smiled at how cute they were then I looked away because they were kissing for a long time.

I didn't know where to look so I looked at Joe we smiled at each other and began to walk back to Zoe's car. They will follow use once there finished their little greet. We sat awkwardly in the car as neither of us knew what to say. I looked into Joe eyes. They were so beautiful and blue. Before I knew it we were kissing. It lasted a while until Joe was ripped off of me.

It was Zoe. She was glaring at him and she wispered something to him but I couldn't hear what she said. Why did she do that? Did it bother her seeing us together? Maybe she just doesn't think we would be good together. Oh well I'm not going to let what happened bother me. I need some fun after the last few days.

'Hi could I have four tickets to see pitch perfect 2 please.' Zoe said.

'There you go. Screen four, enjoy the movie.' They women handed Zoe the tickets. We got our popcorn, sweets and drinks then went up to see the movie. I sat down next to the wall. Joe and Zoe started pushing each for the seat next to me. I looked at Alfie and he looked just as confused as me. Alfie pulled back Zoe and Joe lept into the seat. Zoe glared at Joe then sat down next to Alfie.

'What was that about?' I said.

'Zoe doesn't want me to be next to you.' Joe said though his teeth.

'Okay. I've got a feeling I should ask why, So I won't.' I said looking into his eyes.

'Yeah it's confusing, it's best you don't' Joe said finally smiling. He through a piece of popcorn into the air and caught it in his mouth. I knew he was trying to act cool but I could see he wanted to celebrate his achievement. All of a sudden it went dark. After a few second music started playing which made me jump. Then the film began.

The credits began to roll and the lights came back on. 'That was good.' I said picking up my coat.

'Yeah it was.' Joe said rushing to grab his jacket. We left laughing and grabbing everyone's attention.

As we stepped outside a group of girls ran up to us and asked for pictures. I stepped aside as they took the pictures. One of the girls ran up to me.

'Hey are you and Joe together?' She asked.

I laughed and answered 'No we're friends.' As much as I would love it, true it isn't.

'Oh, well you would be together.' She said running back to her friends. She thinks me and Joe would be good together. I felt a smile spread across my face.

As we walked to Zoe's car they began to talk about making videos. Joe and Zoe both looked at me.

'What?' I asked.

'Be in my video please.' Zoe said doing puppy eyes.

'And mine.' Joe said smirking.

'Urm....Okay!?' I said. I never thought I would be in a YouTube video. I sat in the back with Joe.

As we drove along Zoe missed the turn into my house.

'Urm Zoe we went passed my house.' I said looking back.

'I know. I thought we would go out tonight since last time we did it didn't work out.' Zoe said not taking her eyes of the road.

I looked at Joe. I didn't want to see Jack again. Joe held my hand which made me feel better.

I faced the road.
