I got out of the car and straightened my top. My heart began to race. No just don't think about it. He is gone you promised to forget him.
Joe grabbed me by the hand and pulled me into the building. There was no turning back now. He turned me towards him and looked me in the eyes. 'Beth he's not here just forget about him. Promise.' Joe said looking serious.
'Promise.' I said kissing his check and walking to the bar. I wasn't going to show how scared I was. Just drink a little and everything will be alright.
After ten shots I was beginning to feel better. Joe danced towards me. 'Hey Beth everything okay?' He said shouting over the music. I nodded.
After a few more drinks I found myself dancing on the bar to Taylor Swift like a stripper. I felt someone pull me down and then I blacked out.

I heard the birds whistling outside. I could feel the sun burning my retina's. My body ached. Yep it was official, I had a hangover.
I stumbled downstairs and searched for the painkillers. I poured a glass of water and took to pills. All I could think about was my doctor saying I had a drinking problem. The words went round and round in my head. I promised myself I would never drink again to try and forget him yet I did.
I sat on the cold hard kitchen floor and began to cry. I was useless to myself. To everyone.
I heard someone groan and I kept of the floor. Joe stumbled into the kitchen. I handed the tablets and water to him. He took to then sat on the floor. I sat down again and wiped my eyes. We sat there in silence until we slowly fell asleep.

I opened my eyes to see two pairs of legs. I slowly looked up and it was Zoe and Alfie. 'Hey guys.' I said in a really croaky voice.
'Hey Beth.' Zoe said mimicking me. She laughed and held out her hand. I took hold of it and got up. I couldn't remember anything from the moment I took the first sip of alcohol.
I looked down at Joe who was also now awake. 'Hey.' He said in his sexy morning voice. He got up and made himself some breakfast while I made my tea. We all sat at the table and chatted away like we never had the hangovers before. Once Zoe and Alfie left the room Joe turned on his chair to face me.
'Beth, what where you crying about when I came down here?' Joe said looking worried and concerned.
What do I say? Do I tell him the truth? 'Uh...Urm Oh it was nothing hangover troubles that's all.' I said hoping he would believe me.
'Phew I thought I had upset you.' Joe said smiling.
'Of course it wasn't you.' I said pecking him on the check before jumping into the shower.

'BETH COME HERE.' I heard Zoe shout from her room. I did as she commanded and went into her room. She had a camera set up and lights. She had straightened the room up and put two chairs facing the camera. She patted the seat next to her and I sat down.
'Three, two, one... Hi guys today I am joined by my new friend Beth.' Zoe said looking at me.
'Hello.' I said waving at the camera. Zoe continued to talk and answer questions for a Q&A.
'Bye.' Zoe got up and turned off the camera. 'Thank you Beth.' She said packing away her stuff.
'Your very welcome.' I laughed. I went upstairs and knocked on Joe's door before entering. He looked up from his laptop. 'Hey.' He said before putting his laptop down.
'Hey. I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner tonight.' I said fiddling with my fingers. Joe held my hands to stop me playing with my fingers. 'I would love to.' He answered. I smiled and ran into my room. I needed the perfect outfit. I opened my wardrobe and looked at my clothes. What do I wear?
