Chapter Thirteen

*Mira's pov*

Today is June 7th Emmalee's birthday. Today Sam is asking Emmalee to be his girlfriend. We have been living in New York now for 5 week's me and Colby haven't told Sam were dating yet only El and magcon and o2l and Jake, Reed, Julia , and Jordan know, and Devin. I think we have to tell him soon like real soon since everyone else already knows.

I get ready for Emmalee's birthday party putting on high waisted black shorts and a pink and black stripped tank tucking it in.

"Colby!" I say laughing walking into his room to see him shirtless.

"Thanks Mira good thing your brother isn't home." he says sarcastically.

"Sorry but were all like roommates anyway." I say shrug laying on his bed. "And plus were dating now. And plus I've seen you shirtless many times before." I add in as he walks over to me with a little smirk.

"You know you could kiss me since Sam isn't home." he says leaning above me.

"You're right I can." I say kissing him having him flip us over as he lays down so I'm on top.

"Guy's I'm back!" Sam yells from downstairs.

"You've got to be kidding me." I mumble pulling away just as Sam walks in.

"Mira why are you straddling a shirtless Colby?" Sam asks I look down.

"Were just play wrestling an I pinned him down duh." I say uneasily.

"Okay we have to go soon." he says walking out closing the door.

"You pinning me down seriously Mira?" Colby asks with a laugh.

"Shut up it's the first thing I thought of." I say smacking his shoulder playfully.

"Okay get off so we can go." he says, I do as he says and he finishes getting ready to go.

*15 minutes later*

We walk in Emmalee's house which is immediately crowed with people.

"I'm going to look for Emmalee." Sam says we both nod.

"So you nervous that girl's will hit on me since nobody knows were dating?" Colby asks I frown at that.

"Don't say that." I say sadly getting a hug from him.

"I was kidding you're my only girl Mira." he says kissing the top of my head.

"And you're my only guy I'm dating." I say playfully.

"Because magcon and o2l are you're guy's also." he says laughing I nod.

The present I got El me and Colby got together it's a personalised soccer ball since she play's soccer.

"Mira!" El yells than hugs me and Colby.

"Happy birthday El." we both same time laughing.

"Thank you now gimme my present." she says clapping her hands we laugh giving it to her.

"Emmalee you can't open the present yet." her mother says laughing.

"Fine." She mumbles handing it too her.

"Attention everyone! There's something I would like to ask the birthday girl Emmalee." Sam shouts standing on a table.

"Okay." El says uneasily we laugh.

"Emmalee we may have only known each other for 5 week's but we have hung out , held hands, and kissed twice an I would like the honours of being called your boyfriend so Emmalee what I'm asking is will you be my girlfriend?" Sam says standing in front of her now she nods tears in her eye's hugging him.

"Can I open my presents? now even though this one is the best." El says looking at her mom who nods.

*A hour later*

A hour later El has opened all her gifts, an everyone has left except for me, Sam, and Colby.

"Emmalee there's another gift that you get tomorrow." Sam says looking at her.

"What is it?" she asks.

"One direction is going to hangout with the both of us all day tomorrow." he says shrugging like its the normalise thing to say ever.

"Your the best boyfriend ever already." she says hugging him.

"Yeah I know." he says kissing her.

"I have Mira as my best friend you as my boyfriend and Colby as a older brother pretty much could this get any better." she says looking at all of us.

"Guess not if we all get along." Colby says causing us all to laugh.

*3 hours later*

"Okay bye El I'll see you later." I say hugging her after Colby an Sam do.

"Okay bye Mimi." she says pulling away.

"You guy's go ahead I'll be over in a few minutes." Sam says we nod.

*Sam's pov*

"I'm glad were dating now Emmalee." I say holding both her hands.

"Me to Sam." she says with a smile.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow oh by the way if you open the locket there's a picture of me and a picture of you on the inside already." I say kissing her slowly.

"Okay bye Sam." she says kissing me one last time before heading inside I go to my house with a smile on my face Emmalee's my girl now I like the sound of that.

P.S. El is good when I have writer's block an is really nice we don't just talk about this book we talk about life also. So she isn't just someone who helps when I have writer's block she's also a really good friend I can always count on.
