The car engine roared as Sans drove. It's been awhile since he actually drove a car. He always relied on his magic to take him everywhere. But this was a nice change of pace as well as scenery.

Taking a chance to look to his left, one hand gripping the steering wheel. He saw countless rushing waterfalls, brightening the darkness around them.

As he was now in the middle of Waterfall Town.

Even though he hated to admit it, it was his favorite place in the underground.

The fields of glowing echo flowers, waterfalls with clear blue water. And his favorite part, was looking up at the ceiling seeing all the crystals he called stars.

As Sans couldn't actually see real stars. Back when things were different, he would visit waterfall, and go to his secret spot and just lay and watch each crystal change color, disappearing and reappearing.

The most peaceful place around. And thankfully, still was.

With Undyne running the place, it grew in size. More buildings and monsters roaming. But nothing like Snowdin and Hotland. Waterfall just had a peaceful town. Almost like how Snowdin used to be.

And Sans wouldn't want nothing more then for everything to finally end and for him to go back to how things were. Crazy, right?

The skeleton who's been living in Snowdin for his whole life, now running it. Doesn't want any part of it anymore. What a joke.

His toothy smile faulted. His thoughts getting to him like usual. He looked over to his brother. And just like old times, he was fast asleep.

It was a pain to even get him out his room, nonetheless into the damn car. And when Sans finally convinced him to come out and face him .. it was a heart dropping scene.

As his younger brother looked even worse then before. Which gave Sans the determination he needed to help him. He wanted his old brother back.

Sans was never a fan of change to be fair.

He sighed. His focus now on the road before him, now seeing the entrance to Hotland.

And just like that the atmosphere changed. The dark yet calming surroundings now bright and loud. Flashing lights and colors of all shades everywhere. Another reason Sans disliked the place.

...

Finally pulling up, a orange cat awaited the skeletons arrival. A single cigarette between his two fingers.

Sans hasn't particularly been to 'MT MOTEL & CASINO' In a hot minute. More or less because of his hatred towards Mettaton. But who could really know.

He had to set aside his feelings and focus more on Papyrus. Being his older brother he had to at least do that much.

"Alright sleepin' beauty. Get yer' boney ass out the damn car." Sans chuckled. Hearing annoyed groans come from Papyrus.

Getting out the car himself, he threw the keys to the feline. Causing the cat to drop his cigarette and stumble to grab them out the air.
