It’s PE, and I’m not enjoying changing less than two feet from Bethany, who keeps throwing me daggers and looking me up and down, as if sizi ng up my body. Uncomfortable.

“Do you wanna stop?” I snapped after I tugged the t-shirt over my face. She looked abruptly over at me, after pretending to ignore me once she saw me staring at her.

“Stop what?” She asked innocently, twirling one of her blonde curls. I rolled my eyes.

“Watching me change,” I accused. “It’s weird. I mean,

Lesbi-honest.” I glared. (*author’s note: how many of you have seen pitch perfect haha hilarious movie*) She scoffed and leaned over to tug a tennis shoe onto her foot.

“Well, that’s funny, because your eyes weren’t exactly away from me, either.” She squeaked. After the fight, it occurred to me how annoying her voice actually was.

“You know, you sound like Mickey mouse.” I said quickly. She looked at me with a puzzled expression.

“Mickey is a boy…” She told me as if I’d made a mistake.

“I know that,” I smiled and quickly shut my locker and walked off. I glanced over my shoulder to see her reaction. She was sat on the bench with her arms folded and her lips pursed.  Victory.

After school that day, I managed to help Harry escape from the girls following him around every second by asking them if they saw the even newer guy standing by the light pole. They immediately ran off to go find him.

“So, Harry,” I said, as I buckled into his car. “Do you know any nice wig makers?” I questioned, doubting I’d get a positive answer.

“I think I do! My mum’s friend Lou Teasdale is a stylist, so I’m sure she could hook us up.” He told me, sparking the ignition and exiting the school parking lot.

“Really? That’s so great!” I smiled, grabbing the hand that he wasn’t steering with.

“Then, we can go shopping for some hipster clothes,” Harry told me, explaining the afternoon he’d planned out. “And once all the shopping is done, I’ve made reservations for two at Le Palais at 7. Then, we will go have a nice romantic dinner on the patio.” He told me. I grinned over at him from the passenger seat.

“That sounds lovely,” I said, pressing a kiss to his hand.
