It's his second album.
He should feel more excited.
He should contribute more.
He should be happy.
Yet, Yoongi feels like it's drowning him.
He's drowning in guilt, in dread.
He's drowning in the past and the present is always out of reach.
The present is always in his grasp but forever out of reach.
"Yoongi, what do you say?"
He's back to a part of his present.
"Huh?"
"IU wants to collaborate with you. What do you say?"
"IU?" He unconsciously presses a hand against his chest.
"Yes. It'd be good for a pre-release track before the album comes out. Don't you think?" Someone else speaks this time.
Someone who is not his manager.
Yoongi thinks he is drowning again.
But, he can somehow breathe underwater this time.
