Jieun thinks Yoongi's room speaks more about himself than he ever will.
He has sheets spread across the grey rug at the foot of the bed.
His laptop is discarded on the bed alongside two notepads.
"I'm sorry,"
Yoongi scratches his nape,
"I had been working before I decided to take a walk."
"It's okay. For what it's worth, it's better than my room is when I am working."
"You're trying to make me feel better."
"No, really."
Yoongi has his suitcase left unopened on the couch so he ends up asking her to take a seat on the bed (with alot of stuttering to not make it sound suggestive).
She sits at the foot of the bed, trying not to step on the lyric filled sheets splayed beneath her feet.
"Beer or Coke?" Yoongi asks her from the mini-fridge.
"Beer," She says her eyes roaming over the careless words written across the papers.
She makes out the words 'love' , 'dread' and 'people' on one of the sheets.
And, Jimin and Jeongguk on some other sheets.
Unconsciously, she reaches out for one.
It takes alot of effort to discern his writing.
For what reason did we grow apart?
But we, we, we decide not to hate
We said nothing could break us apart
Look where we are now
I keep getting scared that we will be apart
ForeverIt's personal. Is what Jieun makes it out to be.
She picks up another sheet, the one she was eyeing before.
The us that dreamt of together is no more
We are the ones who tore down the sandcastle
She hears muted footsteps until they stop infront of her.
She pauses.
Does he mind it?
Does he mind that I'm going through his thoughts?
When she looks up at him.
He says nothing instead extends a can of beer towards her.
