Soon comes alot later than Yoongi has anticipated.
He is at the same show.
The one he was performing on his birthday and met Jieun for the first time, properly. (read: cowardly)
His new album is doing far better than anyone has ever expected.
Apparently, people love the rawness of his music.
The parts of him that he doesn't consider softening around the edges.
Bare and naked for the world to see, listen, feel.
It gives him hope.
He never thought he would feel it again after he had to leave Bangtan the way he did.
"Yoongi?"
He almost has whiplash at the speed he turns his head towards the entrance of the green room.
There she stands, in all her glory.
Her hair are longer, wavy.
And, blue, blue, blue.
Rose bud lips bloom into a smile.
He almost trips on himself as he stands up ftom the couch he has been lounging on.
She walks up to him in quick steps.
"Congratulations!" She is beaming at him.
The moonbeams touches his skin and reflects across the room.
"Your album is amazing!" Her hand is extended towards him.
It takes Yoongi a moment to realise that he is supposed to shake it, until he does.
Her hand is warm.
Yoongi feels warm, warm, warm.
Something cold in his chest thaws and melts away.
"Thank you."
At the end of the night, after performing their new song alongside Jieun, winning first place for his comeback, Yoongi decides that blue is his new favourite color.
Because, it is good luck, hope, warmth and Jieun.
