The next day, Seokjin sits by his hospital bed.

"The girl was worried, Yoongi. Why would you not tell her what is actually going on?" He asks him.

"What's there to tell, Hyung?" Yoongi quips back, resting his back against the hospital bed.

"That you worked yourself down to your bones over the years.
That your body doesn't want to co-operate with you." Seokjin deadpans.

As if.

"I don't need to tell her. I think she...she knows it." Yoongi tells him.

After all, she is the moon.

She is there even when he is asleep.

"Then, are you going through with it?" The older asks.

"No."

"Yoongi, You can't push it back anymore. Stop running away from your pain." There is so much pain in Seokjin's voice as he says that.

"I'm not. I'm not running away."

I'm living through it. Surviving.

"Then don't delay the damn surgery, Yoongi." He tells him.

"Unless you want to live with a dysfunctional limb for the rest of your life." He tells him.

I know.

But, why must everything that goes up must come down?
