Jaime's pov
we walked into his house. it was the first time that I've been to a party since. But that's for another time to explain.
we all have different times of events. But this wasn't about that. This was about answers. This was about the list. Getting alone time with Alex. There weren't that many people. There was Zach. Justin and Jessica wasn't here. Bryce was here. And others. I of course knew from school. I saw Alex in the corner. Away from everyone else.
I saw Monty. Monty was a dick like most of the team. He was on the basketball team. He was on the baseball team. He knew Carter. From what Carter knew about him, Monty hastled, every nerdy kid. It was like carter was exception. And so was his friends.
" so your plan is to just what to just walk up to him and just mention the tapes?" Says valerie, whispering to jaime
" no I'm not that dense " Says jaime , whispering to valerie
Okay. Maybe that was my plan. But I got a new plan I saw the kegger. I grabbed a beer. I " accidentally" pushed zach into Alex. Zach didn't know it was me.
" what the fuck dude " Says Alex
" hey you ok?" Says jaime
" yea... jaime? you came to an actual party? " says Alex
" thought we'd try something out " Says jaime
" we?" Says Alex
" v and Carter " says jaime
He looked to see them. They waved at Alex .
" shit, I heard you were hanging out with Carter but I thought they were kidding " Says Alex
" I can help clean up your shirt " Says jaime
" sure " says Alex
We went upstairs. I helped get the stain out. We were alone.
" can I ask you something. Honestly " Says jaime
" sure " says Alex
" why'd you make the list" Says jaime
He looked at me.
" the list could've been written by anyone " Says Alex
" cmon, I know you wrote the list . Why'd you put her on it . Why'd you put Hannah on the list " Says jaime
He pushed himself away .
was he seriously doing this? Acting like he didn't do anything. Like he didn't know anything about the tapes.
" your playing a dangerous game here jay " says Alex
He stood in my face all tall. I smirked at him.
" you want to know what I think?" Says jaime
I licked my lips.
" I think your a scared little boy, who knows about things and trying to act like a man by being all tough. But guess what lattè boy, I'm not that easy to push around " Says jaime
" I know you made that list. You and army of rodents or whatever think they can hide from the truth but they know what they did. You can deny it and come at me all you want but honestly. You and I both know your all scared " Says jaime
" what are we so called scared of " Says alex
" that the truth will come to light " Says jaime
" fine I made the list so fucking what " says Alex
" you made her a target because of that list and you don't care" Says jaime
" it's complicated you don't understand " says Alex
" what don't I understand please explain your situation to me please alex make me understand why you put my sister on a list that made her seem easy tell me that " says jaime
" it wasn't my idea ok?" Says Alex , shouting
He sat on the bed . I sat next to him. I got my thoughts together. I couldn't get believe what I was hearing. I looked at him.
" what ? " says jaime
" it was Bryce's idea " Says Alex
" me and um Jessica were about to have sex but she changed her mind. I got pissed. Then I dumped her " says Alex
" I ruined a friendship " Says Alex
" then Bryce had the idea to put Hannah had on the list. I wanted to hurt Jessica to put Hannah on that list. I didn't think it go that far " Says Alex
" you didn't just ruin there friendship. You made people go after my sister. Like she was a slut " Says jaime , standing up to walking away
" Jaime, wait I'm sorry " says jaime
I stopped. Those words. The fucking note.
" you left the note?" Says jaime
" I thought If you heard I'm sorry you'd know-" Says Alex
" your a fucking asshole " says jaime
"jaime -" Says Alex
I walked out. I went downstairs. I looked at both valerie and Carter and took a shot off the table.
" we need to go now " Says jaime
" I'm guessing we gotta go " Says carter
