I lost Lucy.

I lost Lucy.

I lost Lucy.

Noah's voice echoed in Tim's ears as his vision blurred. It was unthinkable that she could be taken AGAIN. With a shaky hand, he dialed Grey, "Lucy's missing," he reported to his fellow sergeant, and the words felt WRONG coming out of his mouth.

"Get back to the station. We'll find her together," the Watch Commander said soothingly, though, admittedly he was panicking as well.

Tim considered calling Tamara, but it was late, and she had an exam the next morning. There was no use in worrying her when he had every intention of finding Lucy before the sun rose. He broke several traffic laws to speed to the station where he went straight to Grey's office.

"Do we have street cam footage or something to comb through?" Tim asked when he stormed in.

"I've already got Nolan and Juarez looking," Grey answered.

He shook his head. "No, I need to check."

"Tim, maybe you should take a minute."

"I'm not gonna do ANYTHING until I find LUCY," Tim insisted severely and walked into the bullpen to find John and Celina crowded around a computer at one of the desks.

"Was Lucy really taken?" Nyla asked when she joined the group.

Nolan nodded solemnly and flashed a glance at Tim whose hands were shaking at his sides while he focused on reviewing the footage.

The detective saw the set of Tim's jaw and the way his eyes were betraying him with absolute PANIC in them. "How about you call Angela. Bring her in."

"She's on maternity leave," he answered but did not stop staring at the screen.

"Call her," Nyla ordered.

Tim saw the way Harper's arms were crossed, and he understood- this is something she would want to know. With a sigh, he stepped away from his fellow officers and dialed Angela. "Lucy's been taken," he started the call.

It felt like deja vu.

He had been here before in the same hallway calling the same friend saying the same message. But, this time. THIS TIME...Lucy was not his rookie/partner. Lucy is now his EVERYTHING, and with her missing, he felt like his entire universe was missing alongside her.

"I'm coming," Angela said and gulped. She could sense just how heartbroken her best friend was, and she wanted to help.

Tim wanted to say "that's not necessary" or "I was just calling to let you know", but he was grateful that Angela would be with him. Before he could form the words "thank you", his eyes caught on someone in the distance. "I have to go," he spoke into the phone and hung up before flying through the bullpen to grab at the collar of Noah Foster's shirt. "HOW COULD YOU?" He sneered while shoving the detective's back into the nearest wall.

"I..T-Tim..." Noah tried to speak.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE HER BACK! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER!"

"S-She..."

"SHUT THE HELL UP! YOU'RE THE REASON LUCY COULD BE HURT! AND, I SWEAR TO GOD IF ANY OF THOSE JERKS SO MUCH AS TOUCH HER, I'LL KILL YOU!"

"TIM!" Grey called as he exited his office.

He kept his grip on the detective firmly keeping him pressed against the wall, but he finally broke eye contact with the other man to look at Grey. Then, he could see that everyone in the bullpen was staring right at him. The problem was he could not find it within himself to care if anyone was judging him for his lack of professionalism. Tim turned back to the man he suddenly loathed. "I'M GONNA FIND LUCY, AND THEN I'M GONNA MAKE IT MY LIFE'S MISSION TO DESTROY YOU. YOU'LL BE LUCKY IF YOU CAN GET A JOB AS A MALL COP IN THE MORNING. YOU'RE DONE WITH THIS OP, AND IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT, YOU'RE DONE BEING A COP!"
