Sammy
"Excuse me? Would you like to share with the class what you two are whispering about back there?" All eyes travel back to the place where Aaron and I currently sit, and I feel my cheeks go red. Glancing over at Aaron, I speak up.
"No, Mr. Sharp. Sorry." I smile apologetically, hoping he'll drop it.
"Just stop talking and get to work." He turns back around and I can hear Aaron snickering to himself.
"What?" I raise my eyebrows in confusion. We just got in trouble and he's laughing?
"Such a goody-goody. God, Sammy, we're 17. You never do anything fun anymore." His attention goes back to his paper.
"Asshole," I mutter. "I can be fun."
"Prove it. There's a party tonight, Michael's house. You in?" He smirks, I can't back out now.
"Fine," I sigh. "Who's going to be there?" What did I just get myself into.
"Squad and Douche's squad, of course. Some juniors, some seniors. It starts at eight. It'll be fun Sammy." Putting the emphasis on 'fun,' Aaron walks away as the bell rings, signaling lunch.
---------------
"Who's car are we taking to the party?" Aaron asked. Probably mine because I don't ever really drink enough to even get buzzed.
Air quoting my words, Matthew speaks up. "Yours, Mrs. "I don't get drunk." I didn't even notice we had arrived in the lunchroom until Matthew had spoken up.
"So, by those words I'm guessing you got Sammy to go?" Shawn's excited eyes found mine.
Sighing, I reply with a sarcastic "Yes, sadly." Cheers erupted from my group of friends, because they all know how I tucked away 'fun Sammy' in her closet years ago.
"On that note, where are we eating lunch?" Of course, Katelyn is the first one to ask. It's our tradition to eat out together on Fridays.
"Moe's." Matthew pipes in, seeing that's one of his favorite places to go, his suggestion doesn't surprise me. So, with one universal nod in agreement, we all head that way, taking Aaron's and Shawn's cars.

Aaron
"Station Requests?" Katelyn asks, the passenger always gets control of the music.
"The usual." Sammy shrugs. As we follow behind Shawn, curiosity gets the best of me.
"What are you guys planning to wear at the party? Honestly I really only cared for Sammy's answer. Everyone knows Katelyn always sluts it up at parties.
"Black dress and some heels. What about you, Sammy?" See, what did I tell y'all?
"Maybe a teal tank top, tucked into some black high waist-ed shorts. But HAHA fuck heels I'm wearing my black vans. Curl my hair, who knows?" Oh damn, maybe I underestimated Sammy.
"Gurl, since when do you even own those kinds of shorts, the fuck?" I laughed as I pulled into the parking lot.
"Bitch, I have a whole closet full of them, I just never wear them." Katelyn opens the front door for us as we find our other half by the window.
"Hey guys." Shawn greeted us, his eyes found mine, but I just shook it off. As usual, Katelyn takes a seat next to Matthew and kisses him on the cheek.
"Gag. We're eating here." I scrunch my nose up before ordering my steak burrito.
"Oh shut up, you were worse when it came to Carter that one summer." Katelyn joked.
"Gag." Was all I had to say to that.
Flashback
"Aaron, the stars are beautiful tonight." Carter and I had decided to go on a late night beach run while we were in Florida.
"Carter, you're not even looking up" I laughed.
"I know, I was talking about you." He smiled, the heat rising to my cheeks as he leaned in.
End of Flashback
"Aaron, snap out of it!" Brianna exclaims, waving her hand in front of my face.
"Sorry, I must have zoned out." I gave a weak laugh and rubbed the back of my neck, trying to brush it off.
After spending another thirty minutes laughing and throwing food at each other, we decided we should get back to school.
-------------
"Well, that was fun." Sammy said laughing, while curling the last strand of her hair.
"Yeah, it was," I laughed. Now, I'm rummaging through my closet, trying to find the perfect pair of jeans. Usually I wouldn't of cared so much, but tonight I knew Carter was going to be there, and I was determined to look my best.
Another ten minutes of searching, and I find them; my signature pair of ripped jeans. Throwing on a black galaxy Adidas shirt, I fixed my hair and onced over myself in the mirror. Damn, did I look good.

Slipping on my vans, I grabbed my phone and wallet. "Aye, hoe! Shawn's almost here with everyone, let's go!"
Before going down stairs, I checked myself in the mirror to make sure I looked alright. Tucking my shirt in, I head downstairs to see Shawn pull up. "Aaron, get your fat ass down here so we can take my damn car!" I screamed up the steps. Finally, after what seemed like another eternity, he came down.
The car ride for the most part, was silent. The only sounds to be heard were the radio in the background, and Shawn humming along. Shawn has a really nice voice, one that you could listen to forever.
An eternity of awkward silence later, we arrived at Michael's house. Pulling up, I could hear the music from down the block. This night was about to be hype as fuck.
