Sammy

The only thing I can feel now, is my head pounding. I know that I drank a lot last night. Looking around, I notice that I'm not in my bedroom. Actually, come to think of it, I feel someone pressed up against me.

What the hell? I look back to see the face, praying I don't know him. Oh man, no this can't - fuck. I totally slept with Brayden last night.

Getting up, I'm careful not to wake him; that's the last thing I need. Picking up my stuff from around the room, I exit out of the bedroom in hopes to find a bathroom. I'm not even going to began to wonder where my friends are.

There's still people everywhere. Passed out of course, but why am I not surprised. Stepping over bodies I finally locate a bathroom, but the doors shut.

I am not walking in on someone, or even worse; someone trying to get a quickie in before going home. So, I pound my fist on the door a few times waiting for a response.

"Jesus, occupied." Someone shouts from the other side.

Wait, I know that voice.

"Aaron it's me open the damn door before I have a meltdown." Seconds later I'm swooped in and Aaron looks as if he's just seen a ghost. "Huh, so I'm not the only one. Spill."

"Cameron." He can barely get the words out. Breathing in, I spill mine.

"Brayden." He's just as shocked at mine, as I am with his. "Never thought Cam would swing that way." I giggle, Cameron's such a cliche high school quarter back. You'd never expect something like this out of someone like him.

"Sammy, I don't know how to feel. To be honest I don't remember most of it. I remember him leading me upstairs, and next thing I know I wake up and we're cuddling?" It comes out more of a question rather than a statement, but I don't blame him. I wasn't too sure of myself either.

"Least you were drunk enough to forget. I remember every detail of last night. The only time where I didn't remember was when I first got up, and then I saw him and bam. It was back just like that. No one else can know though, I can't handle another black hole." I sat down, trying to get a grip.

"Anyways, where's the rest of squad?" Aaron asks, running his fingers through his hair.

"I have no clue, I just kind of left Brayden and came to find a bathroom." I shrugged, tucking my shirt back in.

"Same, I was too freaked out to even think." I feel that right about now. Getting off the smudged makeup, I get up to splash some cold water on my face.

"You know, it's a damn good thing my parents think I was spending the night with you, otherwise I'd be in some deep shit." I chuckle, trying to get my mind off of last night. "What sucks is that he probably won't even remember."

"Hoe, what is it you're not telling me here?" Aaron gave me a bitch face while fixing his shirt.

Sighing, I decided to spill the rest. "He said he missed me."

"Oh, no. No, you are not going back to him. You can not get sucked back into that mess of a boy. I am not dealing with black hole Sam again." I laughed, knowing he was right.

"I know, I know. I wasn't planning on going back anyways. It just kind of struck a nerve when he said it." Getting up, I walked out of the bathroom following Aaron downstairs.

"You find Matthew and Katelyn, I'll find Shawn and Brianna." I nodded, taking the opposite side of the place searching for our friends.

After searching the kitchen, I go to the couches to find Matthew and Katelyn cramped into each other. Gag. I think I've had enough lovey dovey stuff from last night to last me a lifetime. I chuck a pillow at the lovely couple and snicker when Matthew gets knocked in the face.

"Get the fuck up hoes, we're about to dodge." I walk away to find Aaron, seeing if he had any luck with the search.

"Found em'." I'm tapped on the shoulder, to face the rest of my friends.

"Good, let's get out of here." All of us nod, and are soon joined by the love birds as we all pile into my car once again. "Who am I taking home, and who's crashing at who's?"

"Home." All four of them speak up.

"Great." I groan. I'm really not in the mood to drive. For the most part, the car rides silent, other than the soft snores coming from my friends.

"You still look like you've seen a ghost." I whisper over to Aaron, who's in my passenger seat.

"I can't get over it." He's twirling his thumbs.

"Do you think it'll change things between you guys?" I pull into Brianna's driveway first. Leaning over the seat, I shake her awake. "Home." I nod in the direction of her house.

"Thanks, I'll see you guys later." She smiles as she shuts my car door behind her.

"I don't know, if he even remembers then it might. I know it changed my perspective on him." He laughs, shaking his head.

"Do you regret it?" I glance over at him, slowly the color is returning to his face.

"Hell yes. What about you?" He returns my glance, waiting for my response.

"With a passion, oh my god." I chuckle to myself.

Aaron

After everyone was dropped off, we stopped at a CVS to get some aspirin. Both of us agreeing that our heads were pounding.

"So, now. What do we wanna do? I've got nothing else planned for today." She looked at me, handing me the bottle of chew able relief.

"You know, I've always wanted to go see this one place over by the mountains, but I've never had to courage to go and do it. You want to?" I shrugged, not really thinking much of it.

"Is that even a question? Aaron you know I love to travel. How far is it?" She put the key in the ignition, ready to jump into what ever adventure we plan.

"I'll show you, just go to the main interstate first." I pointed in the general direction of it.

"What are you, afraid of heights?" I asked her, sitting on the ledge. The view was gorgeous.

"Uh, yes. Are you crazy? What if we fall?" She put her hands on her hips and slowly moved closer.

"Don't be a wimp, Sammy. I would think I've taught you better than that. Now, here, sit." I scoot over so she can get up here.

"Fine, but if I die it's on your conscious." She laughed and sat down.

Comfortable silence falls over us, and we loose ourselves in the bliss of the mountains.
