Aaron
"I heard enough to know that Brayden's up there and wants Sammy back, practically." His eyes travel to the ground.
"Well forget whatever you heard. It's not important. What's important is; why are you here?" At this point I've stepped in front of Sammy, now face to face with Cameron.
"Um, Maryah lives down the street, and I was on my way to see her but somehow I found myself at Sammy's door because I saw your car. I don't really know why?" Twiddling his thumbs, I look over at Sammy who's eyes hold the same amount of curiosity as mine. Yeah, maybe we should talk in private.
"Sam, give us a minute?" I clear my throat, and nod to the door giving Sammy a look. "You deal with fuck boy up there, I'll deal with this." Nodding, she turns away and walks back inside. Sighing in frustration I turn back around to face Cameron. "Couldn't this wait until our next meetup?" Pinching the bridge of my nose, I cross my arms.
"Look, I know now's not the best time, but sooner or later we have to talk about what happened. It's killing me inside." Laughing, I shake my head.
"I choose later." Cameron's shifting his weight from one leg to the other, making his uncomfort obvious.
"Aaron, seriously. We need to talk about this- or at least I need to. I'm not entirely sure if it was just one of those 'drunk mistakes,' after that night I've been really confused. You know? I've never questioned myself like this before." His eyes were anywhere but my own.
This is not going to happen. I do not have time to deal with some fuck boy who's sexually confused. I'm not going down this road, it's too much time and effort that will be wasted. I know it will.
"Have you ever heard of 'bi-sexual,' Cam? You do know there is such a group that can like both genders. You don't have to label yourself. So until you're sure, stay with Maryah. I do not have time to deal with a sexually confused jock who can't hold down a real relationship if an anchor was on his foot for christ's sake. Drunken mistake or not, I regret that night. So, don't come around here with that mushy 'oh I may like you' shit. We're science partners, nothing more. Got it?" Uncrossing my arms, I grab my phone to check the time. "I need to get back up there with Sam and Brayden. I'll see you around, yeah?"
"Uh, yeah. I gotta get back to Maryah anyways." He half smiled, but his eyes were still low. Deciding not to answer, I sighed. Turning around I headed back in the house, up to Sam's room to deal with yet another fuck boy who likes to screw up our world.
"Everything alright out there?" Mama Smmu stopped me on my way up the stairs. Shrugging, I smiled to reassure her.
"Yeah, just some boy who likes to ruin Sam and I's world." I smile sarcastically as I finish going up the stairs.
"Brayden, we can be friends, but nothing more is going to happen between us. I can't afford another meltdown after you leave again." I heard Sam and Brayden talking as I approached her door, and I'm relieved to hear that Sam has this under control.
"There a problem here?" I butt in to the conversation, catching both of them off guard.
"No, he was just leaving anyways." Seeing her give him a stern look and a nod towards the door I smile. Nothing is going to tear down this year like before.
"Uh, yeah. I'm sorry, Sam. I'll see you around." Taking a seat on the bed, I wait until he's fully gone to spill what happened with Cameron.
"Bye, Brayden." She waves him off as she shuts her bedroom door behind him. Turning back to face me, she smiles half halfheartedly. "Spill, since you shooed me off to deal with this hot mess." she smirks.
Laughing, I decide to just give the sum of it, to save time. "He's sexually confused, thinks he may like me. Doesn't know what to do, or what to think. 'He's never questioned himself like this before.'" Her eyes wide with every word.
"Seems like you sure rocked his world," She snickers. "What'd you say to him?"
"I told him I wasn't going to have it. Aaron does not have time to deal with a sexually confused fuck boy that's just going to choose something I'm allergic to in the end." Crossing my arms, I see her give me a confused look. "Girl parts, Sammy. Jesus child. We have been over this."
Laughing, she nods her head. "Oh, yeah," Sighing, she falls back on her bed. "What the hell are we going to do Aaron?"
"The only thing we can do; deal with it."

A/N; Sorry for the long wait on the update, there's a list of reasons why it was long.
Shorter chapter than normal though, who thinks Aaron was right about shutting Cameron down like that? Who thinks he was wrong and should've heard him out?
I thought it was funny either way.
