Sammy

Thirty minutes in, the music's loud, people are dancing. Smoke coming from every edge, and a drink stand to be found in every corner. Currently feeling the adrenaline of vodka and mountain dew running through my veins, I decide to dance.

"Aaron, come dance with me." Dragging him towards the dance floor, he stops me.

"Another shot first, the drunker the better." Agreeing, we walk over and grab two shots of vodka.

"1..2..3!" I feel the burning sensation in my throat, but it doesn't phase me.

"Let me know if you guys need anything else." The guy controlling the drinks was talking to both of us, but only looked at me.

"Ooh, girl he was totally flirting with you." By now we were both getting tipsy, and laughing non stop.

"Psh, nah. That's Brayden." I giggle, remembering that summer.

Flashback

"Sammy, let's go." Brayden whines, dragging out his words.

"Fine, I'm coming. But you have to catch me."

"Wha-?" I jump from the stairs and land in Brayden's arms, wrapping my legs around his waist to steady myself.

Laughing, we stay in that position. Me trying to control my giggles whilst he's laughing at me for giggling. We're such children together.

End of Flashback

"SAMMY. OUR SONG." I'm snapped out of my flashback when Bootylicious by Destiny's Child plays over the speakers. We both sprint over to the dance floor.

Aaron and I both start dancing to the beat of the song. Aaron twerking, and I'm swinging my hips. Before I know it I'm lost in the music, and someone gently grabs a hold of my waist.

Fuck it, I'm having fun. I start dancing along with them, following their lead. I glance over at Aaron who gives me the 'thumbs up' kind of look, so I assume this guy must be cute.

"You want something to drink?" He yells over the music. Coming to think I actually am pretty tired from dancing. That, and I'm already drunk, so why the fuck not?

"Yeah, let's go." I answer back, finally turning around to see who it was.

Shit, Brayden.

Aaron

I hope Sammy knows she just left with Brayden. Giggling from the alcohol, and the thought of Sammy's face when she realizes, I make my way over to the drink stand.
