Luke's POV:
"I thought sister would be here with us in the waiting room so I joined in but I was wrong. when she got in with Lilian I felt so jealous! Rage and anger started to boil in me but I kept my calm"
"Ugh..I wish I could just leave this room already" I thought to myself as my outer self kept a calm look
I noticed that Luke has been eyeing me for a few minutes now
"Why in the world is he side eyeing me now?! Jeez I didn't even do nor say anything...wait..oh sh*t...I haven't said anything nor done anything?! Oh my god that's why!" I thought to myself as my inner self began to panic, luckily my outer self kept a calm look
"The issue here isn't about that Father and Lilian. The issue is, is that after sisters doctor left her room earlier. Our private investigators, spies, and guards have informed us that the doctor was sharing this information to someone else. In which that someone is the person who has been spreading rumors and sending death threats to sister" I said
"Thank god I knew that..."
"And another issue is that after we found this out, Luke went to find the doctor and killed them" Ethan stated as he side eyed me
"Now Aleris doesn't have a doctor and the person who has been spreading the rumors know that we are onto them and are now probably planning their next rumor" Ethan explained more
"Can't you guys just easily find the person and hire a new doctor? Isn't that just issues solved already?" Lilian asked
"Well, if it were that easy we would've done that now would we?" I said
"But it's not Lilian, Aleris's doctor was the only doctor in the empire that knew of Aleris's illness and was the only one that discovered it's cure" Father said
"The other person is....Jackson Alexander" Father stated
Lilian's, me, and Brothers jaw dropped...well figuratively speaking of course anyways!
All three of us were shocked at what Father said
"HIM?!" All three of us shouted in unison
"Yes, him. Jackson Alexander, your brother Lilian" father said
Lilian's POV:
"OH HELL NO" i shouted as i stood up
"Lilian! Don't say that. Father is still the grand Duke!" Ethan said
I sat back down with anger bubbling in me
"Ugh...fine..I'm sorry.." I said
"It's alright, I know that he brings bad memories for you. But he is the only one who has discovered the illness and it's cure other then Aleris's former doctor" Grand Duke Aida said in a serious tone
"He always talks in a serious tone..."
I sigh "Fine...fine...but I will still be on guard of him" I stated
Grand Duke Aida nodded in response "That will be helpful, i too don't trust him nor does my wife. Guard Aleris at all times" he said
"Yes sir" i said, of course I would protect her
"I would protect her with all my life"
