Hina's POV:
I opened my eyes and looked around to see that I was in a black void...
"Hmm...I'm in this void again" I said to myself as I continued to look around
I looked around and saw a figure up ahead...
"Now who's that?...Maybe I should- oh wait that's..." I thought to myself as I slowly went towards the figure and realized who it was
"Lilian? The saint of the Empire?" I asked her as she turned around to face me
"Ah, hello there" She replied to me with a smile
"Huh, I wonder what the saint of the empire is doing in a black void thats associated with black magic? Hmm? Care to explain, liliana?" I asked her with a strict tone and curious tone as I was really curious why the empire's saint was in a black void
"Ah...well-...." Lilian suddenly stopped talking and looked at me as her expression seemed to go down
"Ah...your Aleris's new personal maid" Lilian said in a tone that seemed to be tinted in disapproval
"Damn...that sent chills down my spine.."
"yes...and what does that have to do with anything?" I asked calmly though I am a bit curious how she knows that and why she said it like that
"Talking to you is a waste of time, just remember that if ever you do something bad to Aleris. I will know" Lilian replied with a tone that was both threatening and emotionless...
That moment..Lilian almost seemed...different..no this isn't the empire's saint, this is a completely different person.....
At that moment, Lilian snapped her fingers and I found myself in my room in the orphanage
I was sweating and nervous...why was I like this?
Why was I sweating and breathing heavily...
Was I scared?...
Lilian's POV:
"Finally, out of that dark void. That message should warn that new servant"
I then laid back onto my bed and slept peacefully..
Dramatic flashback:
Growing up, I never experienced the feeling of home
Even if I did grew up with my family and in a house, I never considered myself lucky.
My parents did love me but..what does love matter if there was never trust? Heck, is it even love? Or just you forcing yourself to.
My friends on the other hand...well, I did felt at home when I was with them but...they're all gone now.
My friends are all gone, my family doesn't treat me like family...
No one loved me.
One day, my powers suddenly awakened...I was still a child back then but my mind seemed...already mature
I never understood why that was but what I knew was, it didn't change anything. My parents did show more attention now and they now seems to care...but I know it was only because I was now what that call
A 'special' child
Why wouldn't my parents just show me warmth?...
Why wouldn't they just care about me?...
Why wouldn't they just love me?When I first met Aleris, I thought that "oh, she must be a noble. Someone as pretty as her wouldn't be a commoner...". It was what I used to think but now...
She's more then that.
When I finally got to know her, she was kind but not like the other people who had showed me kindness...she was actually kind...and caring...and so loving...
I developed feelings for Aleris because...she was the first person to ever show me love, what love felt like...she was the only person who loved me and cared for me.
I now believe that...'only her love is the gift in my life, only her love can light the darkest of days in my life, what i need to live, the energy to keep me going, the air i breath' that woman..is my whole world.
And no one will take her away from me, I won't let anyone do that. Not even God nor death itself.
No...not again.
One day, before the incident. I was visiting the Aida Duchy when I heard someone yelling in a corner
I grew up minding my own business but it was unusual for yelling in the Aida Duchy, yes there were some yelling but not bad yelling...
So I got curious and peeked through, my eyes widened by what I saw
A servant, no...Aleris's personal maid was yelling at her. Aleris was on the ground kneeling on broken glass...
My blood boiled and I clenched my fists, I walked up to them and bent down to Aleris
"Are you alright my dear? Please get up" I said in a calm but worried tone as held Aleris as she got up
"Slowly now.." I noticed her legs shaking as she stood up and her knee's and legs were bleeding, the blood dripping down to the grass
I didn't pay attention to the maid and led Aleris to a nearby bench in the garden, another servant was nearby and I quickly asked them to aid to Aleris's injuries
The servant agreed immediately, worried about their young lady. After I was sure Aleris was taken care of, I immediately went back to where Aleris's personal maid was
When I found her I slapped her so hard she tripped and fell back, I looked down and glared at her...
The maid started screaming at me but I didn't hear her at all...I couldn't hear anything, everything was muffled
"Why did you do that to Aleris?" I asked the maid
"THAT B!T€H DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE ALIVE!" The maid yelled out
That was it...those words had crossed the line, I didn't never knew how but all I could see was red.
I grabbed the maid's neck and choked her as I held her neck tightly and raised her high up from the ground bellow her feet.
"Your the one who doesn't deserve to live."
I held the maids neck tightly...until blood splattered on my face and I realized what I had did.
