Cory had cooked a hearty meal, hoping to lift everyone's spirits after the recent attack on Hunter. She had made a stew with meat she had hunted herself, and as Hunter ate, the wild girl seemed to relax and regain some of her energy. Ian, meanwhile, was experiencing another bout of contractions, and Cory did her best to make him as comfortable as possible, fluffing up pillows and bringing him a glass of water.
