Hunter knew that she was being followed but she wasn't sure if they were the same hunters from before or a new threat. She had been on edge since the last attack, and her instincts were heightened to the danger around her. Suddenly, a group of hunters sprang out from behind the trees, armed with guns and knives, and Hunter knew she was in trouble. She tried to fight them off, but there were too many, and they overpowered her. She was left severely injured and bleeding on the ground.
Ian and Cory heard the commotion, and rushed outside to see what was happening. When they saw Hunter lying on the ground, they were horrified. They immediately tried to tend to her wounds, but it was clear that she needed medical attention. Despite the risk, Ian insisted they take her into town and seek out a doctor.
As they made their way to the closest clinic, Hunter drifted in and out of consciousness, clinging to life. Ian and Cory were beside themselves with worry, knowing that Hunter was like family to them. They prayed that she would make it through.
When they finally arrived at the clinic, the doctors rushed Hunter into surgery. Ian and Cory paced nervously in the waiting room, praying for good news. After what seemed like hours, the doctor finally emerged, his face grave. He told them that Hunter had survived the surgery, but her injuries were severe. She would need weeks, if not months, to recover.
Ian and Cory vowed to do everything they could to help Hunter heal both physically and emotionally. They knew that the journey ahead would be difficult, but they were determined to stand by her side and guard her through every step.
