Dear Caroline,

I received the letters. The letters I sent to you. I never thought that those letters I sent will came back to my hands. I let it slide when you didn't replied to my letters but this... I can't help but to ask. You don't want me to visit you nor to see you and even called you. But still. I'm holding on this kind of channel. You and me writing a letter so you could have an idea of what's happening in my life. I'd continue your advice, your promise rather, but then you're the one who never follows. You keep on breaking a promise. I thought you're my best friend? A best friend who will listen and will never leave me. Maybe... I was wrong. This is my last letter for you. Goodbye. And see you when I see you again, Caroline.

Your bestfriend,
Aurelia C. Fretser

Another week without Yana was so tiring. Even if I want to rant. I just can't because I need more money for my study. Next year will be my second year as a Psychology student in Elijah Von Hidalgo University and as per a student with miscellaneous needs I need to earn more. And this is my way of coping my needs.

"Yana will be back in a week." Rolie said while sitting on an empty chair. It was night time already and I was busy with my last work for today. "Back with the "Netflix and chill life" huh?" he said mocking me. I glared at him jokingly and still doing my thing on my laptop for the record.

"Well I guess I already have my money to spend for my next year."

"Wow, you didn't ask some money from your mother?" he said amused.

"I was, back then when I'm in my middle school. But I want to spend my own money now so I need to work." I said shrugging off the idea of the reason of my working student era.

"But then, it was a nice idea of you." he smirk and bid his goodbyes.

I wave my hands to him and continuing my computations. After a long day of work I end up thinking that I need to find Freya. I still thinking the possible way of why Freya would go outside. As long as I remembered I leave the cat in the couch with her food in the floor. So, there's no reason that she will leave just like that. Except if someone shoo her away or maybe she saw another cat? That's impossible! There's no other way out except for the office door!

Standing for almost three hours of listing all the for weeks. It's already saturday. And saturday is an early close day for the shop. That's why I closed it in 7 pm earlier. I look up in front of the coffee shop. It was covered by an mettalic curtains. Obviously, I can't open it here inside. But then, Yana's an intelligent business owner so she put a door in her office with an access of going outside. Others may find me stupid not thinking of the possibiliy that maybe Freya pass through that door. That door was close and it looks like this mettalic curtains and I'm certain that a cat would never opened that.

After I turn off the lights, I walk close to Alyana's office. I lock her office and put her laptop on the desk, took the keys and go outside.

As I set my feet outside, a cold wind greeted me. I tightened my hold in my jackets when another howling of wind were pass. I held out my breath and put the keys in my sling bag.

Walking alone in the night without other thoughts but finding a cat and a letters will be my safe hobbies. Maybe I can do this often. Walking with my hands inside the pocket of my jacket I found myself in the park where I found Freya. I thought that maybe I'll found her here because this is where I found her first.

An hour had passed and I saw no one in this park even a cat. I search the whole area. I even searched the convenience store near the park! I still can't find her! Where is that cat?

I felt exhausted but still walking to find a bench to relax. After wondering in a minute, I found a bench inside the basketball court. The place was dark and just glisten by the lampost outside the court.

Taking the risk, I found myself sitting on one of the benches. I was ready to open my bottle of water I bought earlier in the convenience store when I heard a sound of ball. Someone was dribbling the ball. Or maybe...

I look around and found the guy who was standing near the ring. He was eyeing me with a surprise look and a parted lips. His hair were damp because of the sweat and his chest moved up and down because of the heavy breath he takes.

I really don't know what's on my face but I saw him walking towards me. If I didn't knew this guy who was walking near me, surely, I'm not standing here anymore. But then, this guy, is the mysterious guy I knew from the coffee shop. I hope he will not hurt me.

"What brings you here?" he said taking little steps to come closer.

"Finding your cat."

"My cat?" I nodded and drank a little in the bottle. "In the night? You're finding a cat in the night." he repeat as if I'm stupid. He looks like he was about to laugh but with his cold and mature demeanor I know he wouldn't.

"I need to find her. I can't take my guilt." I never look at him again after I speak. It's just that, his awra screams intimidating. He looks like a business man who would have a deal in a serious way.

"You can't find her in the night, Miss." maybe I was hallucinating but he smirked! He even look around to point out his remarks.

"What? Why? Is she an alien?" this time I look at him. I saw him swallowed when our eyes met. Is he nervous too? I should be the one to be afraid! I'm a girl! I can't even fight with him with this kind of body! Is he thinking that maybe a tall and massive man like him will lose in this kind of girl? I laugh inside my head. Silly me, why would he?

"Go home now, she'll came back to me again tomorrow morning." he turn his back at me and that's when I saw his name.

"Ramirez, his last name is Ramirez?" I whispered. I was stunned when he stops, he turn around again and faced me.

"Do you know me?" Ramirez ask me. I shook my head with a creased in my forehead, weirded by his questions. "Or maybe..."

"Meow"

My head turned as fast as the lightning. I found the cat near the ring, licking her knuckles.

The guy chuckles with my reaction.

"Hey Freya," he softly called his cat. "Someone was looking for you."
