Dear Caroline,

It's summer and mommy wants to have a vacation. I didn't agree though, you knew I hate traveling. I hate seeing roads and I hate leaving the house. And mom being mom, when I didn't agree about the plan, she wants to held a party instead. Can you believe it? I hate interacting with people and my mom just planning to invite my fifty schoolmates that I don't even know they exist! Ugh! I'm disappointed. Instead of getting some rest and read my books I'm force to meet some people I barely know. And remember Rebecca? The girl I told you before? The girl who read my letters for you without my permission? Well.. You know what? My Mom just freaking invite her! Well if she's coming I'll might give her my revenge. I already bought a poison last week, it's supposedly for those rats who ates Mr. Ricky's food but I think it's for Rebecca's drink now. Kidding aside. I can't kill her, everybody will point at me for killing her. Kidding again. I just want to make you laugh. And I hope, I'll see you sooner.

Hoping for your response,
Aurelia C. Fretser

"Cats running the streets and bumping of the cars because of the traffic." I typed and stop. Traffic? I laugh. You can't even see fifty cars here. I deleted the last eight words and changed it. "Cats running the streets and bikes traveled in peace." I type again.

Biting my lips in anticipation, I look around and saw the café being crowded. The clocks says it seven, time for the busy people to move. The long line on the counter made me sighed. The table was filled with cups and gadgets. As the line in the counter getting longer the noise was getting louder.

My eyes wrinkled when someone blocks the sunlight from the glass window I seated. A tall guy with a glass greeted me. His eyes are looking at the chair in front of me, hands holding a cup of coffee and the other holding a book.

I tilted my head and read the cover of the book his holding. "Anatomy and Physiology" I whispered and look up again to the tall guy whose still standing in front of my table, making sure that he never heard what I said. "What?" I said sipping in my coffee.

"Mind if I take the seat?" his face never shows any pleas and kindness. But he's still asking me about the seat and his expression tells me that even if I won't agree, he still take the seat and... I'm right. The brute just sat without any warning. I did not even say anything!

"Excuse me? Who says you can sit?" my voice filled with irritation. I show him my faked smile. "I didn't answer your question, mister."

I choose this table because it is located in the far corner, a hidden table for me. I freaking hate talking to people. And he just broke my peace of mind!

The tall guy give me his 'what's-this-crazy-woman-talking-about face and after a second he look at his left and right and then back at me. "The café is loaded. I can't see any other seat, don't you?"

His face is calm! He didn't even apologize! This peace of mind breaker!

"Lia! Can you lend me a hand?" my attention were caught when my sister, Alyana, the coffee shop owner, called me. I glare at the guy in front of me giving him a 'we're-not-yet-done' look.

I stood up and close my laptop before I left the table holding the cup of coffee in my right hand.
The counter is busy. Rolie, the cashier and Alyana's right hand is all smile even if his work exhaust him. I can not blame him to choose this position, it's difficult and easy at the same time. Difficult because you need to be patient everytime a rude customers will yell at you, and easy because you don't need to stir the coffee machine that makes you forget that you have your arm connected to your body after you use it.

I am a part time worker here in Alyana's coffee shop. And this is the first time I went here before the rooster can crow. My duty starts every night. Besides for having a relaxing view near my favorite spot every night, the customers in that time were not that much unlike now.

I blow a deep breath after I took my hairnet off of my hair. I was stretching my bones while walking back in my table when I stop in my spot.

I bite my lips in frustration, my eyebrows meet because of my irritation. The tall guy is still there in my table while reading his book, looking calm and relax while sipping on his coffee!

Yes, he looks smart with his book and specs but he can't read between the lines! He can not read limitations! Can't he understand my reaction earlier that I am not comfortable of having someone sitting in front of me while I'm drinking my coffee?

But in the first place who am I to expect that I can find peace in this kind of crowded place and this kind of time? The jokes on me. Maybe I can come back at night? But I have my plans for tonight!

Yeah, maybe I can come back here later.

I planned the things I want to do later at home. I continue to walk in my table. I collected my items in a flouncing way. I'm not eyeing the things I collected instead, I continue to glare at him. It's already late when I notice that the letter I wrote were already drop on the floor, and the man was holding it. My world stopped when his eyes scanning the letter. But I didn't expected his reaction after he scanned the letter. He was looking at me with his bewildered face.

This is the first time I saw him showing his other expressions other than his calm and innocent face he always wear earlier. But what's with his reaction?
