The summer ended and Yana was back. She never lied when she said she will pay me triple. I hide my money for awhile because I spend it to my school supplies and my other school necessities because the next school year would be next week and here I am hat my school to enrolled myself and was taken aback by the person who was walking in the corridor. It's him.
"Hey," he greeted with his serious face. It looks lije he was obligated to greet me in the middle of the corridor. I stop in my track and give him my friendly smile.
"Hey, nice to meet you here. You studied... here?" I ask him looking around because someone might looking.
"Transferee, " he said correcting my assumptions. Well, of course how come you're one of the students? I never saw you entering the school while I'm in high school.
"What's your course?" not to mention I already saw your book, but I'll make it certain. And to have a longer conversation with you too. This way, I can make myself a good communicator.
"Taking up MED and a fourth year college student." he gives me his small smile and grab my arm when a group of students were passed.
"Oh, I guess... Welcome to EVHU?" I said uncertain of what would I say. "By the way may I know you're—" I was cut short when we were interrupted by his phone.
"I'm sorry, gotta go."
That was the last time I saw him here. I was going to ask his name but that happened. I guess I can find him here in the school? His one of the Med students, I'm pretty sure we have one building for psychology and medical students. I hope I can meet him again and also... to have him as my friend.
"Please take this schedule, Miss." I smiled at the registrar when she handed me my scheduled.
"Thank you." I was walking while checking the paper bag given by the school administrators earlier. It was a new uniform for psychology students, ID lace, ID and the two major books. "Wow," I whispered in amusement.
It was the first time I took the two books. Usually, were going to buy our own books but when they knew that students were avoiding the Psychology course because of its expensive books. The school decided to give a free books. And as for a psychology student like me, the two major books were helpful.
I walk straight to the locker room. This is the first day in class and I notice that there are few students attended the first day. Maybe because it was more on introduction and no serious classes? I change my clothes into my uniform. I have my two uniforms last year, and another two uniforms for this year. I'm glad I can wear my uniform everyday.
I was getting ready with my looks in front of the mirror's dressing room when a girl was getting frustrated by fixing her neck tie.
"What?! I'm not use to this tie! My uniforms don't have a tie! There's no one—" her eyes turn to me. "Oh! Someone's here, bye!" she extends her arms while painting a wide smile on her face. "Hi! I am Nica!"
"Nice to meet you, Nica. I'm Aurelia, you can call me Lia." I take her hand and give her my friendly smile. "Do you need help?" I said while scanning her collar with a tangled tie.
"Well... I guess?" I help her fixing her tie. She was talking and asking me some things about my course, my age, my year and others and we're both surprise that we have the same class.
We both decided to go together. She was a transferee and she's not good when it comes to directions.
"My mom always scolded me for being stupid. But I think I'm not stupid, I'm just one of those people who can't cope things faster. That's why I choose this course. How about you?"
We're already settled and we are waiting for our instructor, she was funny. She is talkative also and I like her to be my friend.
"I chose this—"
My blockmates stood up when we heard the door opens. But instead of a instructor or a professor we both gasp when a Med student was standing intimidating in front.
"I am Devin Gabriel Ramirez, Sir Conrad's assistant for this sem."
My jaw dropped when the mysterious guy spoke.
So, his name is Devin Gabriel, huh?
