Growing amount of light seeped through his eyelids. Greys melted together with a stagnant look. He looked around confused, he was back in his room.
According to the clock, it was 6:29.
"Now I know how that feels. Am or pm?"
That was answered pretty quickly as a static filled the stale air. "Passive and neutral dinner occurring. Passive and neutral dinner occurring." The doors shot open with a large bang. "!" "Holy- they really need to fix that!"He peered into the hallway to look for Sonder. The ghost dragon lingered in the hallway looking around. Jasper cartoonishly crept behind them.
"I have four ears, you can't sneak up on me." Sonder explained, turning around.
"Ah, dang."
"How was your first test? They get easier after awhile, if you go along."
"It was.. something. That's for sure."
They both started the short journey to the cafeteria when the lights went out with a thunk. The hallway turned dark and confusion could be heard from other goos.
"Sonder, you look like you've eaten 50 thousand glow sticks."
"Indeed, I'm biolomunsecent!"
"Excuse me, biolominsecent?"
"When you naturally glow."
"That's bioluminescent not.. whatever you said."
"Somethings about to happen." they anticipated right before a high pitched siren blared out.
Jasper got thrown to the side by a buck yelling "FREEDOMM!!" Running to a now open door.
"Should we take this time to explore-"
"Explore. This hallway's boring!" Replied Sonder, who was flying to the other end of the hall.
The darkness was forever, only broken by the flying flashlight Jasper found in the ground. He was thinking about what could have made the power go out when he noticed the light source got further away, he looked up and speed up to the glowing cluster. It was a clump of crystals.
"Where did Sonder go.."The feline looked around, a whole grove of similar rock on display right in-front of him. Panicked sounding paw steps rushed towards him.
"Go go go!" Shouted a purple wolf darting past. He quickly climbed up the wall, putting his claws to use.
"Propaganda-I have a feeling I'm not alone."
Out of sight from anything potential lurking he waited for something to step out of the many shadows. A pair of uncanny human eyes appeared. He flinched in shock- and started sliding down the rocky landscape. There was no way it didn't notice him. It stood right in front of a crystal, it's outline anything but human. Unnatural digigrade legs too sharp to belong to a gootraxian and taller then the crystal, the only thing that could be seen from the backround was its eyes. Judging from that, it was easily around 10 ft tall.
"Bffr I ain't fighting that."
Each part of him screamed to run as darkness emitted from the looming creature. Fear welled up inside him as the creature blankly watched, unmoving, unbreathing.Within a blink, it was gone. The light from the crystal once again luminous all around.
The following silence was broken by a
"Ey- sprinklekit!" the purple wolf called out, minty glow visible admist the darkness. "You saw that right?"
"I.. what the actual fuck was that thing?!"
