Ninjago Lava Ship - It's messed up

Rescuing

About a half an hour passed. Kai hums to himself while looking at the navigator and walking around. Nya is beside him, getting frustrated. "Could you lower your annoyingness down? I cant concentrate on our job with you humming. We should be quiet anyway, so whatever happened to Jay and Cole doesn't happen to us."

"Oh, calm down, sis. That won't happen to us if we stick together. And the humming is helping me relax."

"Well it is not helping ME relax!" She yells and Kai covers his ears. "Woah.. Easy. I get that you're worried about Jay. And Cole. I am worried too. But frustrating won't help us."

Nya raises her eyebrow, not believing what she's hearing. "You totally lost it. You were freaking out more than me before!"

"Huh.. I guess it is just like that. I freak out at first, but calm down and you stay calm at first, but then start to freak out. Being impatient is not good, sis."

Nya growls. "Why you!" Kai steps back. "Now, Nya! Don't do something you'll regret later!"

"We will see who's actually gonna regret this!" She was about to pounce on him, but Lloyd stops her just in time. "Guys! Guys! Are you listening to me?? Nya? Kai?" Kai sighs in relief. "Y-yeah, we are listening! What is it?" The red ninja smiles nervously at his sister. She then scoffs and lets it go. Lloyd continues. "I was saying that Zane and Harumi found something disturbing."

"Something disturbing? What would that be?" Nya asks.

"It is a flesh of a human in an abandoned alley. What's more weird is that the red signal is coming from it." Pixal answers.

Nya covers her mouth as her stomach starts turning then she mumbles. "What? But.." Kai then continues. "This makes much less sense. First, invisible enemies, then Cole and Jay getting kidnapped by them, turns out they might be rats and now the same signal is coming from a dead human? Did they look for a rat in a body?"

"Not that I know of, no." Lloyd says. At that moment, Zane and Harumi get in the base, walking towards Lloyd and Pixal, Zane answering on Kai's question. "I analyzed the body. There was no sign of movements inside, nor any creature I could detect, no matter dead or alive."

"Urgh.." Kai tightly closes one eye in disgust just imagining it. Lloyd continues. "However, as we said, things just make much less sense than before. Maybe we should.." The beeping could be heard from the speakers of the computers.

"We got Jay and Cole's location!" Pixal speaks. "Their communicators were not destroyed after all. They just powered off for some time. Good for us."

"Send the location to Nya and me, Pixal! We are going to get them back." Kai says.

"Kai, don't rush into this again." Lloyd warns him.

"But now that we know their location, we gotta move fast!"

"Huh. Look who's being impatient now." Nya says sarcastically.

"Kai has a point." Pixal sends the location to them. "And they are the closest ones to them. I sent you the location. You can go right away, but be careful. You don't know what might await you there."

"Thanks, Pixal." Nya says then gets in her mac and Kai gets into his jet. They both start to head towards the location at full speed.

They arrive in a few short minutes, get out of their vehicles and look towards the old, tall building in front of them. "This is it.." Kai says with a low tone.

"Let's get inside through a window. Remember, be quiet." Nya puts her index finger to her lips then starts heading towards an opened window.

They find a broken window on the second floor so they get inside through it. "Don't you think they would keep Cole and Jay in the basement, all the way down?" Kai asks Nya in a whisper and Nya shrugs with her shoulders. "I don't know, but it won't hurt us to go look." Kai then gulps. "You say it like we aren't in an enemy's territory."
