His Room

I see a room,

A room with a door,

A room with four walls,

A room with a floor,

The door has a lock,

No window in the wall,

No hole in the floor,

Nothing else at all,

But what if I imagine,

A hole in the floor,

A window in the wall,

No lock on the door,

Then what do I see,

In my room with a door,

My room with four walls,

My room with a floor,

There I see the man,

Who put a lock on the door,

Who boarded up the window,

Who filled the hole in the floor,

Now I see the man,

Watch him open the door,

In comes the world,

My room is full once more.
