My heart beats fast,
Out of control,
I'm losing my mind,
I'm losing my soul,
My heart beats fast,
Keeps me awake at night,
I'm losing the will,
I'm losing the fight,
My heart beats fast,
Like a relntless clock,
It tells the truth,
Whether I like it or not,
My heart beats fast,
It won't let me go,
It keeps on beating,
Never to slow,
My heart beats fast,
Mirroring the harshness of life,
Life keeps on going,
Irrelevent of strife,
My heart beats fast,
It will not stop,
It tells me life goes on,
Whether I like it or not.
