But Shubhangi's nightmare was far from over. Clayton family members start to cook the flesh of Shubhangi's family members. She was first forced to eat the flesh of her own family members! She however had no other choice, she had no other place to go to. After eating the flesh of her own family members, she has now officially become a member of the Clayton family. The responsibility of training her was given to Dhruv.

As days turned into weeks, Shubhangi found herself in the clutches of this twisted existence. Under the guidance of Dhruv, she underwent rigorous training, sharpening her instincts and skills necessary to become a predator. The once-innocent girl was forced to embrace the sinister arts of deception, manipulation, and survival, all in preparation for the Clayton family's relentless hunt.

After a few weeks of immense training, Dhruv told her that it was time for her first hunt. Shubhangi was nervous. Even after the training , the loss of her family and being under the guidance of a heartless cannibalistic family , humanity was still present in her. But her fate had totally different plans for her.

The moon cast an eerie glow upon the desolate streets as Shubhangi stood trembling, her heart heavy with the weight of her impending task. Beside her, Dhruv, his eyes filled with a cold determination, prepared her for her first hunt. The night was suffocating, as if the very air was tainted by the darkness that surrounded them.

Dhruv's voice, laced with a sinister tone, broke the silence. "Shubhangi, it's time for you to prove your loyalty to the Clayton family. Your prey lies before you," he said, pointing towards a figure huddled on the dimly lit footpath—a weary beggar, shrouded in tattered rags, a mere shadow of humanity.

Shubhangi's hands shook as Dhruv placed a cold, glinting knife in her grasp. Her conflicted emotions swirled within her, the remnants of her former self clashing against the indoctrination of the Clayton family. Fear mingled with a flicker of compassion that refused to be extinguished.

Summoning what little courage she had left, Shubhangi approached the slumbering beggar, her steps uncertain. In the back of her mind, a voice cried out, pleading for mercy and compassion. But the twisted teachings of the Clayton family pushed her forward, compelling her to submit to their sinister desires.

With trembling hands, Shubhangi raised the knife, ready to strike. But as fate would have it, the beggar stirred, sensing the imminent danger. Her eyes shot open, revealing a strength that belied her destitute appearance. Before Shubhangi could deliver the fatal blow, the beggar swiftly rose, ready to defend herself against this unexpected assailant.

Shubhangi's heart pounded in her chest as she locked eyes with the beggar, whose gaze held a mixture of desperation and resilience. In that moment, a sliver of doubt pierced through Shubhangi's soul, causing her to falter. Was she truly capable of extinguishing another life? Was she condemned to become a mere puppet of the Clayton family?

As the beggar fought back with surprising tenacity, the scene unfolded before the watching eyes of the Clayton family members. Sarthak, a mastermind in his own right, exchanged a knowing glance with Dhruv, silently acknowledging the unexpected turn of events. This beggar had displayed a strength that had caught them off guard.

Dhruv, sensing the need to intervene, stepped forward, halting the clash between Shubhangi and the beggar. Shubhangi's chest heaved, her eyes filled with a mix of relief and confusion. The beggar gasped for breath, her voice strained as she spoke through exhaustion.

Impressed by the beggar's resilience, Sarthak approached her, his voice dripping with a chilling charisma. "You have fought well, beggar," he said, his eyes locked with hers. "Join us, and together, we shall embrace the darkness that resides within."

The beggar, her body weary but her spirit unyielding, looked into Sarthak's eyes, searching for a glimmer of humanity amidst the shadows. She hesitated, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "What do you offer me in return?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Sarthak's lips curled into a cruel smile as he extended his hand towards her. "A family that accepts you for who you truly are," he replied, his voice honeyed with deceit. "Power, survival, and a life free from the shackles of society's constraints. Embrace the darkness, and you shall find purpose within our fold".

The beggar's gaze shifted from Sarthak to Shubhangi, and for a moment, their eyes met—a silent understanding passing between them. The beggar made her choice, accepting the offer that held the promise of both salvation and damnation.

" Welcome to Clayton family, miss-? What's your name miss?". "Ura" She replied. After a few seconds of immense dead silence, Sarthak explained to her the rules of the Clayton family. Ura listened to it carefully. Even after hearing the inhuman rules that would put Satan to shame , She still joined the Clayton family because otherwise she would die due to starvation. She would rather eat human flesh and stay alive than dying due to starvation. Thus the Clayton family got a new member. While Shubhangi still is nothing more than a disappointment for them.
