Y'N's point of view:

"You're really hospitable, Silk. I didn't expect you to continue running Cafe & Bistro after that situation." I state with an admired expression, looking at the blonde gal who's preparing dishes in the kitchen.

She responds while working contently, "Of course you guys deserve a rest. I was in the middle of cooking your order when we got interrupted."

Arach Town has eventually returned to its' original atmosphere. The roads are filled with groups of villagers, and children can be heard playing outside. This wholesome environment spreads into the cafe too. Patrons occasionally walk in and out, and in fact, the cafe is quite busy at the moment. There are a few customers chatting with friends or playing board games at the table. . The sound of chopping can be heard from beyond a curtain at the far end of the room. At the center of the room is a counter with a cash register and a small bell on top. Soon after, a blonde girl walks out with two plates on both of her hands.

So she handles both the cooking and the managing? Impressive.

Silk rushes to bring our dishes out, but she isn't stressed at all - the young chef adores these peaceful times with laughter and joy.

"Here we are! Fried shrimp rice for you, and one serving of matelote for Hannah."

The plates are placed down respectively to her sentence. The smell of warm steamed rice and melted butter permeates the air. The shrimp laying on top of the rice are cooked to perfection, with their tails pulled off and their shells discarded. The rice itself bears the mark of having been cooked in chicken broth, adding even more flavor. On Hannah's side, a large serving of sautéed garlic, potatoes and sea scallops, along with some sweet, tender chunks of fish. My stomach and Hannah's make an evident growl as our mouth water at the sight of the delectable meal.

Although she is also starving, she only looks at me in expectation and waits for something. Her sudden manners catch me off-guard, and I chuckle in respect. "It's alright. Go ahead and dig in." My sentence earns a wide smile from her and Hannah starts chowing down the food. I do the same with my dish.

Silk stands aside and speaks softly before walking towards another customer. "Tell me if you guys want more. Today's on the house!"

Hannah nods as she takes another bite of her matelote plate. Words come out of her mouth between bites. "I knew it was a good idea to - gulp - stay in this town for one more day."

"Well, yeah. I'm sure Silk needs some time to prepare her goodbyes. Leaving her hometown is quite a big step for her."

I can't help but overhear some of the nearby patrons talking. It seems they are newlyweds on honeymoon, trying out some local cuisine.

"The fresh seafoods are amazing, but have you tried the butter croissants yet?" says the bride to her husband.

"I haven't yet. I've had way too much fried food already. Might be time for a break from the local food," he responds. The manager, Silk, notices this and approaches the couple with a menu. "I have you covered, sir. If you're tired of the oily foods, how about changing to a bowl of Bistro Salad? It's a refreshing leafy salad intended to go with rich stews, roasts and quiches - the name also coincides with the cafe's name!"
