Y/N's point of view:
"And then he teleported like a ghost! So spooooky!", exclaims the young girl with pigtails. She continues whilst moving her hands zealously to make heroic gestures. "Totally scared off the rude blonde mister!"
Hannah can't help but laugh at the girl's enthusiasm, "Haha... How expected of him."
She then turns towards my direction with a smile. "She's talking about you, boss! I didn't know I had missed all that."
"Yeah, I get it already. Rika, I'm not a ghost." I tell the girl in pigtails, who's revealed to be Rika.
Rika, a young girl with black eyes and dark hair fashioned in pigtails, happens to be the daughter of the restaurant owner. It's the very same restaurant that Helmeppo disturbed earlier this morning. Coincidentally, Silk was present, and she became the target of his harassment. Fortunately, I intervened just in time, managing to scare him away. The rest, as we all know, is history.
The crack etched into the ground, a consequence of the Leviathan's crushing force, is presently undergoing heavy renovation—handled personally by none other than myself. Despite the earnest insistence of both Hannah and Silk to assist in the mending process, I declined.
The responsibility for the damage rested solely on my shoulders, since I lost control.
In response, Rika chimed in with youthful enthusiasm, "But, big bro, you were like a blur! 'WOOSH,' and he was like 'AAAAA'!"
As I secure the final nail into the plank, I ponder her observation before conceding, "Alright, perhaps I did exhibit inhuman speed back there." Then, with a gentle smile, I continue, "Yet, let's not undermine your own bravery. I witnessed your steadfast defense of Silk. In my eyes, you're a hero."
The radiant joy on the girl's face is undeniable. "Thank you, Y/N! Sister Silk was in danger!"
With a sigh of relief, I step back to admire my handiwork. The once fractured floor now stands flawlessly restored, a testament to the power of diligent repair.
I join Hannah and Silk, who are both sitting on the table with our lunches ready. The table is adorned with neatly arranged plates, each showcasing a delicious array of culinary delights. Hannah's lunch comprises a colorful salad, meticulously assembled with a variety of fresh vegetables, while Silk's plate boasts a savory stir-fry, the rich aroma wafting through the air.
Silk's all smiles, probably thinking she hit the culinary jackpot, while Hannah's drooling like she just met her food crush. It's a feast, not a love story, but you can't tell by looking at them, haha.
Hannah drawls out, "Well, darlin', this here salad's a real hootenanny in my mouth!
This must be Silk's hand at work, isn't it?"
