~Chapter 10~

Maya's Pov

"Carina stay here," I said before walking in and seeing Ellie's lifeless body.

"I'm here I'm here," I said. We all got into the aid car and made our way to Grey Sloan Hospital. Travis and I sadly had to head back to the Station since we were still on shift.

While heading back to the station I told Travis once again not to mention anything that had happened there because I didn't or anything that included my personal life.

Travis Pov

I walked up to the beanery and everyone was there, I needed to get this off my chest but I also didn't want to disrespect Maya but I still had to get it off my chest.

"Maya has a daughter" I blurted out. Everyone looked at me then the door opened and Maya walked in suddenly.

"Travis what the hell," Maya said

Maya's Pov

I left the beanery upset and hurt. I thought Travis wasn't going to say anything and the fact that he said Ellie was my daughter even though she isn't I. I still trusted him to keep that a secret it hurt me a lot. All I wanted was my personal life kept away from the station but I guess you can't always get what you want. I walked up to the beanery and I heard Ben shouting at Travis, I waited 2 minutes before opening the door.

"Travis, My office now!" I said as he turned around and started walking towards the door.

Carina's Pov

We arrived at the hospital 20 minutes later, I jumped out of the aid car and the doctors took Ellie away as soon as she got out. My head was spinning all over the place trying to figure out what could have happened.

Thirty minutes later...

The doctor came, after what felt like an eternity, and asked who is the guardian of Isabelle Baker, I was a bit confused but then I remembered Ellie's name is Isabelle.

"When I found Isabelle she was laid lifeless on the floor and her dad was nowhere to be seen," I said.

"Who are you to Isabelle?" The trauma nurse asked.

"I am a family friend," I said.

"I am sorry but I can't disclose Isabelle's medical state with you because you're neither family nor guardian". he said.

"I completely understand," I said.

Maya's Pov

Travis and I walked downstairs to my office.

"You were very out of place, why would you ever do that even though we agreed to keep what you saw as a secret."

"Captain I'm so sorry It was just too much information and I couldn't keep it to myself," Travis said.

"But what gives you the right to go tell people? I said not to mention anything and you still went and told them even though I didn't want them to know and even if you wanted to get it off your chest you could have come to me" I said.

"You're on bathroom duty for 2 months and you're on suspension for 2 days," I said.

"Captain Deluca-Bishop I'm so sorry" he apologized once again.
