Yo
I could hear the screams crescendo as we stepped out onto the stage. It was such a surreal feeling, I think it's something that I'll never be able to get used to. We were just launching into Wild Heart when the show turned from amazing to perfect from my perspective. In the front row, a girl was dancing happily with her friend. She seemed like she was on top of the world and her smile lit up the room. She turned to face me and her eyes shone, they were beautiful. Just like her. She was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen and she was right there in front of me. I couldn't take my eyes away from her no matter how hard I tried so I forced my legs to run over to the other side of the stage.
For once, I took a back seat role in the talking between songs, my concentration lay with this girl who's eyes were still shining like stars. It was in Shout About It that I decided I wouldn't settle for just watching her. I walked over to where she was standing, knelt down and held her hand. She had a slightly tanned complexion and her hand fitted perfectly in mine. I sang to her, for the whole song and she looked so happy. It was then that I think the boys finally realised what was going on. I saw them exchange glances in the corner of my eyes before I reluctantly stood up and continued performing the set. Enjoying every second.
