"You've got it bad dude" Tris joked as the tour bus pulled away from the venue. I could feel myself going red no matter how much I urged myself not to. "Leave him alone Tris, you were worse with Anastasia." James replied, before receiving a playful punch from Tris. Tris and Con went to find Dean leaving James and I alone together with only the rest of the empty bunks for company. "She was special, wasn't she?" He asked, his voice was so understanding and not judgemental, I felt I could confide in him. "Yes, I don't know what happened. It just hit me as soon as I saw her." He nodded before picking up his guitar and holding it on his lap. "Did you get her number?" He continued. I nodded. "Have you texted her?" I shook my head. "Why not?!" His tone was louder now. I shrugged. "I don't want her to not like me." James came and sat beside me. "You are Brad Simpson, girls go crazy for you and by the looks of things, she is no exception. Besides, if you don't text her, how will you ever know?" I nodded. James pulled me into a hug which felt so comforting and fatherly that it put my mind slightly at ease.
"Thanks James." I muttered.
He stood up and headed for the door, "go and get your girl." he winked as he left.
