I snuck into my house late that night, hoping that my family had just gone to bed without me instead of being concerned. When I walked into an empty room I breathed a sigh of relief, that was until Nat popped out of nowhere. "Where have you been?!" She questioned. "Nandos." I continued walking in the hope that the mini interrogation would be forgotten. "Who with?" She persisted. "Um..." Quick brain quick!! "James" I blurted out before I could think of another name. "James McVey?!" She smiled to herself, thank God, I'd got away with it. "That's funny... because James just called asking if you'd had a good night." Shit. Busted. "So spill. who's the girl?"
"How did you guess?!" I felt myself blushing.
"You are so readable Brad, it pains me." she laughed
"Well... She's.. Er... Called Hannah and she's... She's a good friend."
"You're not going out?" Nat asked shocked.
"No, of course not."
