An Awkward Date, Part 2

Over the next few days, I eventually got better, and Rika was forcing me to go places with her again.
"Y/N, wanna go grab something to eat together? It'll be really fun, trust me!"
"Fun?"
"Mhm! I have a really hype place we can go to!"
"Fine."
"Yay!"

I couldn't stop thinking about what happened. Was it all a dream? Do I really have feelings for Rika? I didn't even know I could have feelings like that. Maybe alcohol will solve it, although, maybe that's the problem. Drinking turned me into an aggressive shit, depending on how much I drink, and only pains me long term.
Although I don't have to worry about anything while drunk, stopping isn't a problem. It's not like I'm addicted or anything anyway.

We arrived at the place we were going to eat. It was some strange karaoke place. It didn't look too bad, but it didn't look too good, either.
"Hello! We booked a private room for two for this time!"
The person at the counter nodded and pointed us to the room we'd be in.
"Rika, are you sure karaoke is good... After all, you're the only one who can sing."
"Relax! If you want, I'll just sing for you and you can drink and eat whatever you want, sound good?"
"I guess..."
"Yay!"

I'm still in a somewhat conflicted mood after the last couple of days. Those memories keep flooding through my head over and over again. Maybe I'll drink more aggressively today than usual to get rid of this feeling. But I was also feeling something else. My heart was beating faster when around Rika, and I couldn't think as well as I normally could. Maybe all that alcohol is giving me heart problems. That's probably it. Whatever, I can't prevent the inevitable anyway.

"Hey, hey, Y/N?"
"Hm?"
"Wanna take my motorcycle to get there?"
Wait, what? She had a motorcycle? Since when?
"You have a motorcycle?! What?!"
"Heh, this is the most surprised. I think I've seen you, but yeah, I have one, haven't I mentioned it before?"
"No."
"Anyway, hurry up and let's ride!"
She grabbed my hand and dragged me over to her motorcycle.
"So, uhm... how does this work?"
I asked her.
"Just put this on, and you'll be fine!"
"Okay, I trust you."
She handed me a helmet, and then I got on the back seat of her motorcycle.
"Okay, now, put your hands around my waist and get ready, okay?"
Her waist? I'm not sure if I'm ready for this. She'd definitely feel something, right? I just need to try my best to hold back and not-
"Oh, one more thing! You need to push your body against me for a little bit since it's your first ride. I don't want you to get hurt!"
I turned slightly red as I pulled myself into Rika and wrapped my hands around her waist.
"I can do this. I can do this." I muttered to myself.
"Hm? Did you say something, Y/N?"
"No."
"OK! Now, get ready!"
She revved the engine up, and we shot off and started our journey to the karaoke place.

About halfway through the ride, Rika adjusted her seating and ended up accidentally pushing her ass onto my... well... you know what.
God damn it. Why did she have to put her ass there of all places?!
I squeezed Rika's waist, trying to avoid myself from her feeling anything.
She pulled over and stopped. Did she think I wanted something?
"What's the matter, Y/N? Should I go a bit slower?"
"N-No, it's not that!"
"Then what is it?"
"N-Nothing, don't worry about it."
"Tell me, please."
She looked at me with the cutest face possible. It was hard to resist such a gaze.
"F-Fine."
I looked away from her.
"Well, you... moved into..."
"Oh, I see! You're getting hard, aren't you? Heh, perv."
She smirked at me.
"Hmph."
"Okay, well, as long as you don't stop me from driving, it's fine, I guess."
Rika turned slightly red and looked away from me. Did I say something bad?
"O-Okay."
We both continued on our way, and I managed to stop thinking about what had happened, and not long after, we'd arrived.

"Yay! We're finally here! Let's go!"
She jumped up and smiled at me, I stared blankly back at her.
"I'll make you smile today with my singing, just wait..." Rika mumbled under her breath, I think? I'm probably wrong. She wouldn't care about me enough to do that.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing!"
She grabbed my hand again and pulled me into the building.

"So, what song do you want me to sing, Y/N?"
"Hmm... Let's see..."
I was scrolling through all the options to see what songs would match Rika's voice, when I realised I could just choose a Merm4id song. It'd be like a private concert.
"Floor Killer? It's a Merm4id song, so you'll sound good, is that alright?"
She nodded.
"Mhm! That's a great one!"
She started singing and I started drinking.
Rika took a break and messaged someone on her phone.

I zoned out not too long after, and had drink after drink. I can remember everything that happens though, and it was my most aggressive drink session ever.

The door burst open and a girl with long black hair was standing there. I wasn't thinking properly, so I grabbed her and threw her onto one of the couches.
"R-R-R-Rika?! Who is this?!"
One of Rika's friends, huh?
"That's not important." I said to her.
I looked right into her eyes and slapped her in the face. I don't know why I did it.
"Y/N?!?! Why'd you hit Tsubaki like that?!"
Rika rushed over to help her friend, who's name apparently was Tsubaki.
"Tsubaki. Don't..."
Tsubaki sat up and stared at me angrily.
"Don't what? Do you expect me to even listen to you after what you just did? Rika told me to come join in so she could help you enjoy your night, but, I don't know why she's putting this much effort for a guy like you." Her words were harsh, but true.
"Shut up."
"Are you drunk or something? What did I even do or say to you?!"
Rika stood up to stop the argument.
"Tsubaki, he has a serious problem with this stuff, I'm extremely sorry! Please! Forgive him! Just this once!"
"Rika, why are you apologising on my behalf? It means nothing."
She looked disappointed.
"Y/N... I... I just wanted to make you smile tonight..." She ran up to me and tearfully hugged me.
"Huh? Why're you hugging me? I just slapped Tsubaki, didn't I?"
"Y/N... Please... don't drink any more today."
My eyes widened as I came to face what I had actually done.
"Rika, I'm sorry you had to keep me with you for so long. I really am."
"Do you know what you're even saying right now? Why wouldn't I want to keep you around? Although you may not talk much, and you may not show emotion much, just your presence is enough to make the mood lighter for me, I like to have you around because I want to, not because I feel I have to."
"Tsubaki-Chan... Sorry for doing that. You don't have to forgive me, just overlook it this once time, please."
"Very well then, only on the condition that you don't drink heavily anymore."
"F-Fine."
I slowly closed my eyes and passed out in Rika's arms.

"Finally, he's awake!"
"Well, you're excited, Rika."
I opened my eyes and saw two people standing over me, my eyes down adjusted to the bright lights in the room and I saw who it was. Rika and Tsubaki. Upon seeing tsubaki, I sat up as quick as I could.
"Ts-Ts-Ts-Ts-Tsubaki-San! I'm extremely sorry for how I acted yesterday! That was terrible, even for me! I just... Thought you'd try taking her from me... But I was so drunk that... Well... That happened..."
"You do seem very solemn with your apology... I'll accept it this time, just take care of Rika, OK?"
"Okay."
"Hey! I'm right here y'know!"
