“h-ha?” i stuttered by his sudden words.
“wala, it's nothing.” his mood suddenly changes.
“may nagtitinda ng siomai dun sa labas, do you wanna eat?” he continues.
“wala akong pera”
“libre ko” he chuckled as he saw me looking happy,
“shige” pabebe kong sagot.
We went outside and we ate siomai.
“ilan lang ba kukunin ko?” tanong ko baka kasi kulang budget niya.
“eat as much as you want.” which made me smile a little.
“sige ha, walang sisihan pag nilangaw wallet mo.” i chuckled.
“magkakaroom naman na ulit ako ng allowance e, pag top 1 na ako.” he giggles, parang hinahamon ako ng challenge.
“as if.” inirapan ko siya.
“watch me, baby.” tangina, ayan nanaman siya.
Agad kong sinubo sa kaniya ang malaking siomai na nasa kinuha ko habang siyang nakatingin sa akin with a smile na nakakamelt, his eyes were almost no where to be found.
“ayan, kumain ka nalang dami mong dada.” sagot ko dito.
“fan kasi ako ni toni” he responds while giggling.
“toni fowler?” tanong ko dito.
“hindi, toni gonzaga.” inirapan niya ako.
“ah ganon?” i hit him hard which made us both laugh.
Just then, danica came out of no where.
“having fun?” she says with an irritated voice.
“mhm, why don't you join us?” raven invites her which made me a little uncomfortable, in that month kasi it isn't just me and raven who got close, both danica and him too. Every time they'll meet, danica would be a completely different person and since raven doesn't know our personal issues, they got close over time.
“gladly.” as she held his arms around, ewan ko pero parang naiinis ako sakaniya.
“hm? why aren't you eating?” just them, tinanong ako ni raven. napansin niya ata tilang nawalan ako ng gana.
“ahh, medjo busog na kasi ako naalala ko kakain nga lang pala namin ni athena sa cafeteria.” sagot ko dito.
“why didn't you say so? baka napilitan ka lang when i said that ha?” he comforts me.
“hindi naman, sige i'll get going na since busog na’ko.”
he seems to have taken a back and stopped eating immediately,
“hatid na kita!” he immediately said as i put my trash sa trashcan.
“hindi na, you have company oh.” i said i pointed danica with my lips.
“yeah, raven don't you want to spend time with me? at hindi ba pagod ka na pres? dahil sa bonding niyo kanina ni gavin. you guys seemed so happy.” she said with a grin, grabe napaka desperate na siraan ako infront of raven.
just then i saw raven pursue his lips, it was as if he got mad sa sinabi ni danica.
“ah, i see, sige. see you later nalang sa classroom.” he coldly
said.
“sige.” i said as awkwardly walled off.
tangina, what was this feeling. disappointed? furious? o jealousy? grabeng mixed feelings 'to.
As soon as i entered the room, i can see athena talking to hiro, they were very loud pero we have this kind of connection na alam namin if we ever feel down.
“oh? bebe ko what's wrong?” sinalubong niya ako ng tanong.
“sus, si raven 'no?” pangeepal ni hiro.
I immediately hugged athena and feel onto her arms.
“i feel confused.” i whispered at her.
She brushed my head, “shh, it's okay.”
I closed my eyes but just then.
“kung ako 'yan, di kita gaganiyanin.” a familiar voice suddenly said.
I looked up to see gavin behind hiro.
“e hindi naman ikaw.” inirapan siya ni athena.
“not now, but soon.” he smirked at me.
“oh shut up, gavin.” inirapan ko siya.
“what? kinocomfort ka na nga e.” pang-aasar nito.
“che, comfort ba 'yan?” irap ko ulit sa kaniya.
“e ano bang gusto mong comfort? palit kami ni athena, ako nalang magha-hug sa'yo?” he smirks at me.
“ewan ko sa'yo” i can't help but smile as i say so.
“ayan, you're smiling na ulit.” he chuckles,
“happy pill si gavin amp” hiro suddenly said,
“tumahimik ka nga” athena scolds him.
Just then our teacher came in at bumalik na ang aming ibang classmates including raven amd danica.
Suddenly, i felt so distant kay raven, and every time na iaapproach niya ako, danica will stop him agad and entertain him immediately at kapag ako naman ang lalapit, pinipigilan naman ako ni gavin.
gavin shook his head sa akin.
“but i want-”
just then we saw danica talking to him out of no where.
“but does he want to talk to you?” gavin answers my stuttered question.
I made a frown which made him smile,
“ do you want to solve?” he chuckles at me.
I looked at him, confused amd he pointed to his seat, his math notebook are exposed. I smiled at him,
“yeah, let's do that.” we both chuckled.
I sat beside him and as usual, we had fun arguing about what was the correct answer and i swear, i could see raven with his blood shot eyes looking at gavin.
“ayan ka nanaman sa mistake mo!” i shouted at him.
“wrong ka naman talaga e!” he defended himself.
“anong sinabi ko kapag negative times negative?” pag irap ko sakaniya.
“positive?” he looked at me confused then looked at the problem.
“oh ano sa tingin mo, bat ka mali?” i raised my brows at him.
“ ahh, hindi kasi, lag kasi ako ganon pero tama ako.”
I rolled my eyes at him while we both laughed.
Athena and hiro approached us while smiling.
“love birds na agad?” pangaasar saamin ni hiro.
athena hits him,
“team raven ako.” she proudly said.
“talaga ha? harap harapan ko?” gavin raises his brows at her.
“oo, makapal mukha ko e.” inirapan niya ito.
“ano ba 'yang bonding niyo, ang hirap. Problem solving ba naman happiness.” Hiro scratches his head roughly.
“unique kasi sila.” athena compliments us.
“uniqueorns.” pangaasar ni hiro.
“buysit ka!” i responded, we 4 both laughed and i can see rven being uncomfy with danica at the edge of our classroom.
