after the incident, i didn't know why pero raven grew even more distant than before. He completely ignored me after getting out sa guidance.
"h-hey!" pag-greet ko sakaniya, he just walked passed me.
"he's a jerk, cha, leave him alone." pagcomfort sa'kin ni gavin.
"i know." i disspointedly said, bowing my head on his chest.
gavin hugs me and i saw raven looking at us blankly, then walked off.
"then, shall we get ready para sa practice natin sa prom?" gavin grins at me.
"sus, nagaaway lang naman kayo ni athena." i chuckled.
"e kasi, sa dinami dami ng pwede kong kapartner, siya pa" he rolled his eyes.
"kapal mo, hayop ka!" athena suddenly came out of no where.
"ikaw talaga, inaaway mo bebe ko!" hiro confronta him sarcastically.
"hay na'ko talaga kayo, para kayong mga bata." panunuway ko sa kanila.
"e ano bang nangyari nanaman sa inyo? bakit hindi ka nanaman pinapansin ni raven?" athena raises her brows.
"e-ewan ko, hindi ko na din siya magets minsan e." just then i saw gavin kind of pale, parang pinagpapawisan na hindi mo alam kapag nabibring up si raven.
"okay ka lang ba?" i asked him.
"h-hmm? oo naman! how about we eat!"
"kakain lang namin ng siomai e." we politely declined his offer.
"ah ganon ba, sige mauna na muna kayo sa room, kakain lang ako."
i pursued my lips then nodded, we both said our goodbyes and headed sa room.
as soon as we got there,
we can hear oir classmates shrieking,
"yess!" sigaw ng isa.
"ano meron?" i asked them.
"may meeting teachers hanggang mamayang 2, 4 hours nanaman vacant natin!" pagsigaw niya, while jumping.
"ano ba 'yan, what are we supposed to do?" i said in a dissapointed voice.
"library?" athena suggested.
"sige."
we three went there and kinuha ko ang season 2 ng libro na binabasa ko last year. "the everlasting love" it's about ano kind of puppy love? hanggang sa they fell inlove tapos nagmeet ulit sa college then sa work tapos it gives off this, calm gf vibes and clingy bf ganon, that's my type of romance.
"grabe, hindi mo na tinantan 'yan." athena scolds me,
"last year pa 'yan e." she continues.
"hayaan mo na ako, ito lang naman kasiyahan ko kapag bored ako e." i slightly chuckled.
I was reading it and kung saan ang part is where it's very tense, biglang dumating ang isa naming kaklase na maaga daw natapos ang meeting ng mga teachers at mag lelesson daw si sir. I was so desperate to know what happened so i asked the librarian if i could borrow it and they agreed.
I felt devistated as i entered the classroom, ung tipong gusto mo nalang buksan ung libro at basahin iyon habang nakikinig pero science 'yon, kailangan ko magfocus on to how papaano ko isosolve 'to or kung ano ba.
The day ended and gavin was in a hurry kaya hindi niya na ako hinatid, just then i heard my phone ring while i was walking towards sa bahay.
It was mom,
"charly, sa summer house ka umuwi, nandito sila gavin. Dito sila magiistay for a week. Nandito na din gamit mo, the driver can't sundo you pla since sinusundo niya ang fajardo's, magcommute ka nalang." she said urgently,
"pero ma, i have to take the bus to get there!" i objected.
"i don't care charly, i just need you here, immediately." she hangs up after that.
I groaned in annoyance as i changed my way to go sa bus station.
It was a bit dark na since 5 kami pinauwi pero 6 na nakarating ang bus papunta sa kabilang town.
I sat i inside, tired. Sobrang nakakapagod ngayon. I was so sleepy so when someone sat beside me, i didn't even have strength to look up and dozed off, my head leaned against sa window.
I woke up, and saw na sobrang dark na and i should be able to be there in just 2 hours, it's been 2 hours and 20 minutes, buti nalang ay kakatigil pa lamang namin sa alfonso, cavite which is where our summer house is located. hindi ko na napansin na paggising ko ay nakalean na ang aking ulo sa aking katabi, ngunit hindi ko nakita ang mujha niya dahil nagbabasa siya. Agad akong nagthank you at umalis na.
I hurriedly got out and looked for a taxi.
I got sa summer house and my mom was raging mad,
"wtf took you so long?" pagsalubong niya sa akin.
"ma, common sense nalang! I came from manila, 2 hours bago makarating here sa alfonso!" i objected.
"kahit na charly, the fajardo's arrived an hour ago." she kept scolding me which made me storm off to my room.
Just then, i heard knocking on my room.
"cha?" i heard gavin from the other side.
"come in." i shouted,
He saw me laying on the bed upside down, my face buried on a pillow.
He stroked my hair,
"you guys fought again, didn't you?" he comforts me.
"mhm" i said, not glancing onto him.
"so, papaano tayo papasok bukas?" he wondered,
"syempre maaga palang liligo na tayo, then manong javi will drive us there in an hour." i glanced at him.
"well, manong javi is nice, don't you think so?"
"yeah, he is." i replied,
"cha, i'm sorry ha?" his sudden apologizing caught me off guard.
"hindi naman ikaw ang may kasalanan neto e." i smiled,
"not that," he hugged me, smiling then let goes.
"you're really that, upset?" he tilts his head.
"yes, i am." i groaned in annoyance.
"let's just eat."
"yeah, let's do that." just then my stomach growls.
"you must be so tired." he gently smiled.
"sinabi mo pa." we both laughed.
we went downstairs and found gavin's mother and mon talking sa dining table.
"it's good that you two are in good terms." my mom grins.
"syempre ma, magkaklase kami e." i rolled my eyes.
"watch your behavior, charly." she awkwardly laughs, not trying to turn off gavin's mother.
I rolled my eyes and sat down, gavin sitting next to me.
we silently ate the whole dinner, pero mom wasn't.
"so, when should we look for wedding gowns?"
or
"what kind of project should we do after they get married?"
and so on.
"ma, please." i shushed her.
"let's not rush the kids, camilla." gavin's mother awkwardly laughs, she clearly doesn't enjoy my mom's company.
I stormed off from the table and went sa playground sa front yard.
