tomorrow morning, maaga na kami naligo ni gavin. 4:30 palang naligo na kami, buti nalang ay merong sari-sariling comfort room ang bawat guestroom at master's bedroom. we arrived sa school at 6:30.
"huwaw, huwaw what is this, what am i lookin' at?" hiro rises his brows at me and gavin who's now entering the class.
"hindi mo pa alam?" i smirked at him.
"ang alin-" napatigil ito sandali.
"wtf?!" he shrieks from his seat.
"akala ko si rav-" pagtutuloy pa neto.
"ugh, not that hiro!" i rolled my eyes at him.
gavin chuckled, what's wrong with him.
"oy,oy, oy ano 'yan? kinikilig ka naman pagshiniship ka kay pres e!" pangaasar ni hiro.
"h-ha?" gavin stuttered,
"tinamaan ka na talaga!"
"tatamaan ka na talaga sa'kin!" i sarcastically threatened hiro
just then we saw gavin smiling on his own.
"sino?" i asked him suddenly
no response.
"psst uy!" i clinged onto him, waving my hand infront of his eyes,
he came back to himself.
"sino?" i teased him.
"h-ha?" his reponse reapeats.
"sino 'yang iniisip mo?" i repeated my question.
"w-wala!"
"sus-" i was about to go against his response when,
"hindi niyo kilala." he whispered, enough for us to hear.
"aba-" i stopped again, what did i say about cutting me off? i hate it, just then we heard a classmate shouting.
"zahara, aga today ah!" a guy shrieked.
zahara chuckled but just then we saw gavin trying to hide his face with his palm. I put both my hands on my waist,
"hindi nga ba namin kilala?" i tilt my head, teasing him.
he pursued his lips,
"hindi si zahara 'no!" he tried to lie.
"deny pa!" binatukan ko siya.
"gagi ka gav! may crush 'yan kay raven!" hiro suddenly went against the idea of gavin's likings.
"oh e sila ba? pwede pa naman agawin pag crush lang e 'no?" i encouraged gavin, bumping his shoulders with mine.
"sus, gusto mo lang masolo si raven e!" hiro teased me which made me batok him too.
"alam mo kung hindi ka lang bf ni athena, patay ka na sa'kin"
just then,
"uh- gavin? can i borrow u for a sec?" zahara suddenly approaches us.
"b-busy ako." gavin hesitantly rejected her.
"busy daw, ako na gagawa, tabi!" i said as i shoved his ass away from his chair which made him almost lose his balance.
"aray!" gavin shouted at me,
"arte mo, gaga ka!" i whispered at him.
"a-are you okay?" suddenly zahara touched his arm gently to comfort him.
gavin eyes widen,
i smirked at him and formed a sentence in my mouth with "thank me later."
he gestured a thank you and both me and hiro laughed, but then he suddenly stopped
"pero, didn't you also had a thing for gavin?" he seriousness shookt me.
"no, i didn't. i only saw gavin as my bestfriend, nothing else."
Ever since kasi we always had a rumor that we were a thing or dating but none of them were true, i knew that gavin liked me, i wasn't manhid. I just didn't like the idea of confronting unless one goes first. I have a slight problem of speaking my thoughts unless my parents or venting towards my bsf.
"well, that's good to know." hiro smiled at me, he's being weird. His mostly that funny guy who doesn't take things seriously.
"you're being wei-" i was about to finish when.
"cha-"
"wtf is wrong with people these days not letting me finish-!" i almost exploded infront of, RAVEN?!
"sorry, i just wanted to talk." his voice low.
i was speechless, raven, whom i thought would never talk to me again was standing infront of me, apologizing.
i looked at hiro for help but only saw him trying his best not to laugh at me, gosh he was no help. Just then i saw gavin peaking at the door, i looked at him furiously.
he winked at me and gestured a "now we're even!"
i wanted to throw my shoes to him but raven was looking at me sincerely.
I looked at him, my eyes full with hatred.
"cha?" he asks again.
"what do you want, raven, for the second time!" i shouted at him.
"to talk... again." his answer made me furious.
"talking to you the first time was a mistake, what makes u think i'll give you the freedom to talk to you again the second time, huh?" i said, coldly.
" because, i miss you." his answers only kept me more furious, miss pero kayang di kausapin for a month? sige nga.
"miss?!" i raised my voice.
"y-yes, i missed you, cha." he stutters.
"tangina naman raven! ano ba?! stop with the gaslighting!"
"charly please, forgive me." he begs again.
i sniffed hard, trying to stop my crying, he made everything worse with my family, i thought i was suffering the worst when i cried about my parents but when he totally ignored me or left me, my suffering was 10x worse!
"dude." suddenly hiro stops him.
"just one more chance, cha." he cries which made my heart ache.
i looked away, sorry pero ayokong magpaloko na, tama na.
