after the incident, athena comforted me again and gavin apologized.
"i thought it would help." his head down,
"it's not your fault, gav." i gently smiled.
"oh e anong balak mo ngayon gawin?" athena raises her brows at me.
"what do you mean?"
"you're seriously not gonna forgive him?" she asks
"i-i don't have any plans to." i stuttered, i was always bad at lying.
"liar." she smirket at me
"come one athena, masyado na siyang sinaktan ni raven." gavin defended me.
"pero, aminin! kayo ni charly ang may kasalanan una pa lang sa lahat, charly you ditched raven for gavin." hiro crosses his arms at me.
"p-pero!"
"ay hindi, walang pero charly, you both are wrong here."
"pero hiro, sige let's say it was their fault pero nakita mo naman kung gaano nagkandaraparapa na si bebe ko sa harap ni raven just for him to forgive cha pero tinalikuran niya lang si cha and now he, he wants cha back?" athena crossed her arm back.
gavin suddenly awkwardly laughed.
"what's funny, gav?" athena raises her brows.
"i might or might have done something for that."
his face suddenly went serious and held my hand gently.
"i-i, made him ignore you, cha." he stuttered to say so.
"h-ha?" and just then i remebered on what we talked about what why he was acting like that, that night at the playground.
-FLASH BACK-
"cha" gavin suddenly joins me on the swing,
he faced me,
"i hate her." i groaned in annoyance.
"cha, were there, well, was there a time when you didn't care about what your parents tells you as long as you have a person that you can hold onto? the person who comforts you at your lowest?" his sudden question caught me off guard. Then i remebered him, raven.
"yes." i said in a disappointed voice.
"why do you sound disappointed?" he awkardly laughed.
"i-it's raven." i said which made him suddenly stop then breathed, relieved.
"you must have really fallen hard for raven, huh?" he said which made me silent.
"cha, if you had a chance to, to talk to him again, will you, talk to him again? like if he wants you back?" he bombered me with questions.
i gently smiled, "no, i wouldn't."
he stopped, "why?"
"he hurted me alot, gav. i hate people who hurts me." i hesistantly answered.
"but if he had a valid reason? like if someone forced him, like a friend of yours?'
i raised my brows, laughing
"athena and hiro would never do that, they'd know that, that'll hurt me." i laughed awkwardly.
"yeah, well it's getting a little cold, yeah? let's go inside." gavin weirdly laughed.
