Radio Host: Today is the one year anniversary of the dreadful tragedy that took place on Mount Washington...Sheriff Annie Cline who was in charge of the investigation...
Sheriff: Thanks for having me, Marty.
Radio Host: Listeners an update on Hannah Washington, the girl who is still missing...
Sheriff: One year ago tonight the Washington girl left the safety of her parents' lodge and headed out into a snow storm...
Radio Host: Foul play?...
Sheriff: Not officially no. There is one individual we're considering as a person of interest but his whereabouts are currently unknown. He has an interesting history with the Washington family...He had warned them against pursuing their construction project...and claimed the land was sacred to his forefathers.
(The side of a bus is seen showing Sam sitting in a seat listening to the radio)
Radio Host: You know there is still the old Sanatorium on the mountain. Could he be hiding there?...
Sheriff: My officers did search the ground but...The girl herself couldn't have made it that far...
Radio Host: Something about that mountain seems to breed tragic events.
Sheriff: More then you know Marty.
Radio Host: Well thank you for joining us, Annie...to all the Washingtons tonight... their son Josh on this, the anniversary of the mysterious disappearance of Hannah Washington.
(Now showing Josh on Sam's phone)
Josh: Well hello friends and fans... alright let's do that again...
(Josh fixes up the the camera to zoom in on his face)
Josh: Alright. Well hello friends and fans! It's beyond awesome to have you guys all back this year. First off, I gotta say I am super excited to welcome all my pals to the annual Blackwood winter getaway! So, um... Let me just let you know, let's take a moment to address the "Elephant in the room" for a second...I know you're all probably worried about me...and I know it's gonna be tough on all of us going back after what happened last year...but- I just want you all to know... it means...it means so much to me that we're doing this. And I...I know it would mean so much to Hannah that we're all still here together, thinking of her. I really want to spend some quality time with each and every one of you and share some moments that we'll never forget, for the sake of my sister, you know? Okay... so! (The screen blacks out for a second. Then the name of chapter (Memento Mori or Friendship) and 10 hours until dawn. Now views to Sam stepping out of the bus. Then it focuses on a hand tightly holding a machete. Sam then opens the wooden gate and goes through. Sam is then introduced as Hannah's best friend and being diligent, considerate, and adventurous. She then hears a sound and responds with a question:)

(The playable segment is switched to Sam, on her path to the cable car station at 21:02. She then continues on to path to the cable car station, while the camera's focused on Sam's back. At one point, Sam reached the metal gate with a note attached to the front: Gate's busted, climb over! - Chris.
