Chapter 8, Animus/Revelation, and three hours until dawn.
Stranger: Urgh...
Emily: Argh! No!
Emily falls to the ground in fear of the Stranger. The Stranger approaches while Emily crawls back.
Stranger: Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh...
Emily: No, stay away!
Stranger: SHHHH! QUIET!
The Stranger hears the monster behind him and looks back.
Emily: Get back!
The Stranger gets Emily to her feet.
Emily: ARGH! NO NO...
The Stranger kicks the wooden doors behind Emily open and pushes her down.
Emily: Aah!
The Stranger throws her his bag of flares.
Stranger: Use these!
Emily is shown falling down a wooden slope. The Stranger activates his flamethrower against the Wendigo.
Stranger: ARGH!
Emily lands on her back on the ground. The flare bag lands on her stomach and bounces off.
Emily: Woah! WHAT?! Oh shit... oh shit.... oh boy!
Emily gets up on her feet.
If the player chose to light the oil with the torch:
Emily lights one of the flares.
Emily: Yeah! Oh my God! Alright Em... alright let's go.
Emily puts the flare bag over her shoulder. If Emily inspects the structural collapse sign prior to jumping down the small ledge after picking the 'Hide' option in the previous Chapter.
Emily: Come on...
After walking around in the mines for a little while, Emily enters a gap between rocks.
Emily: Ok... ok this is gonna be the way.
Shimmying in the gap, a monstrous hand bursts through the boards and attempts to grab Emily, but misses.
Emily: Shit! Shit!
Emily bursts off into a sprint.
Emily approaches a bridge with a gap.
Emily runs further with the monster, fully revealed, right behind. Emily reaches a fork with a sign for the elevator pointing to the left.
If Emily chooses to Go Left:
Emily runs to the left without harm.
Emily reaches the elevator.
Emily pulls the lever with a groan. The elevator goes up.
Emily: Come on! Breathe out... breathe in...
If otherwise:
Emily: Oh god... oh god! Okay, okay... snap out of it, Em.
The elevator comes to a stop.
Emily: Shit!
If Emily successfully completes the Don't Move:
Emily sighs.
Emily runs out the elevator and tosses her torch or her flare.
Emily: Ok...
If Emily hits the first QTE:
Emily pulls the chain and releases and big bunch of rocks falling in front of the Wendigo.
